Cost-Effectiveness: Get more for your money with comprehensive services. Scalability: Adjust your marketing efforts as your needs change. Advanced Tools: Access cutting-edge marketing tools and technologies. Objective Perspective: Fresh insights and innovative strategies from an external team. Launching a Marketing Department? It’s Key to Hire the Right Talent Building a marketing team isn’t just about filling seats—it’s about finding the right people. And that can be harder than it looks. Finding individuals with the perfect mix of creativity, technical skills, and industry knowledge is both time-consuming and costly. A wrong hire can set your marketing efforts back and waste valuable resources. Prioritize key roles and stay flexible with your hiring approach. Focus on what’s mission-critical for your team’s immediate needs while leaving room to adapt as your department grows. Here’s how: ✅ Start with High-Impact Roles: A content marketer to drive engagement and a performance marketer to manage campaigns are excellent starting points. ✅ Leverage Freelancers and Agencies: For specialized tasks—like graphic design or advanced analytics—outsourcing can save time and reduce overhead. ✅ Look Beyond the Resume: Adaptability, collaboration, and a willingness to learn are just as important as technical expertise. Consider hiring a Fractional CMO who can build your team for you. They bring the expertise to identify the right talent, set strategies, and lead initiatives—all without the overhead of a full-time hire. How do you approach hiring for your marketing team? Let’s share stories and strategies below—your insights could be the key to someone else’s success! #MarketingStrategy #TalentAcquisition #MarketingTeam #Leadership #BusinessGrowth #HiringTips #FractionalCMO #TeamBuilding #MarketingLeadership #GrowthMindset

So you’ve decided to include social media as a bigger part of your marketing strategy, but the question remains: Outsource or hire internally? Hiring an in-house social media manager can cost up to three times as much as outsourcing to an agency. From searching for and interviewing applicants to onboarding and training, time and money add up quickly. Once hired, you'll need to invest in equipment, platforms and apps to optimize your content creation. If you outsource, you'll not only save money, but you're setting yourself up for tangible results. When you work with an agency, you acquire an entire team of subject matter experts whose skills, experience and insights work symbiotically while staying up to date with constantly-changing algorithm updates. A consistent social strategy works best when part of a cohesive marketing strategy, and keeps your social going even with shifts in your internal team. #SocialStrategy #OutsourcingSocialMediaManagement #SocialMediaManagement #SocialMediaAgency #SocialMediaManager #MarketingStrategy #MarketingPartner #HavenMarketing

What's the REAL difference between a marketing assistant and a fractional CMO? Simple: One maintains, one builds. Scrolling through job boards, I see businesses asking for: ✔️Content strategy ✔️Content development ✔️Campaign management ✔️Growth planning ✔️ROI analysis ✔️Team coordination ✔️Budget optimization ✔️Market research ✔️Brand positioning ...at marketing assistant rates 😅 But it's important to note: Marketing assistants and CMOs serve fundamentally different purposes in your business journey. A marketing assistant helps execute your vision. They're invaluable for: ✅Managing social media schedules ✅Creating content based on guidelines ✅Handling administrative tasks ✅Maintaining existing systems ✅Supporting day-to-day operations A fractional CMO, on the other hand, builds and helps maintain your entire marketing ecosystem: 🌟Develops comprehensive growth strategies 🌟Identifies market opportunities 🌟Creates scalable marketing systems 🌟Manages budgets and ROI 🌟Makes high-level decisions 🌟Aligns marketing with business goals 🌟Builds and leads teams If you need someone to take tasks off your plate, hire an assistant. If you need someone to take MARKETING off your plate entirely - that's what a CMO does. AND if you need help with the implementation too, a CMO with a team (like a boutique agency) can likely take on both roles! Think of it this way: An assistant helps you steer the ship, while a CMO charts the course, predicts the weather, and ensures you reach your destination. The cost difference? It reflects years of strategic experience, proven leadership, and the ability to see the bigger picture. Choose wisely. Your business growth depends on it. 💡Pro Tip: Before hiring either role, map out what you actually need. And a good CMO can help you determine what that is during the hiring process. #MarketingLeadership #BusinessGrowth #FractionalCMO #MarketingStrategy #BusinessAdvice #StartupTips #SmallBusinessTips #ExecutiveLeadership ***** Most B2B business owners are copying what they’re seeing online and it’s killing their visibility and revenue. I give them bite-sized resources to nail their unique marketing strategy and implementation so they can stand out, make more money, and help more people. Want to outsource your marketing? Yep, I do that too! Let's chat!

🚀 "Wanted: Digital Marketing Managers Who Can Do It All – Or Are We Asking for Superheroes?" 🤔 Are the lines blurring between the roles of Brand Manager, Marketing Manager, Content Writer, Digital Marketing Manager, Communications Manager, SEO Expert and a Social Media Manager? It seems all JDs for these roles look the same nowadays! Is this due to the expansion of Digital Marketing, skill overlap, or budget constraints? Companies are publishing JDs where candidates are expected to be all-round experts in branding, communications, content, design, marketing, digital marketing, social media marketing, SEO, SEM, SMM, ORM, and more. Are these unrealistic expectations way too high, leading to overwhelmed professionals and high turnover rates? 🌟 The Pressure Cooker: Challenges Digital Marketing Managers Face: 🌟 The role of a Digital Marketing Manager is high-pressure with relentless demands. No wonder the global turnover rate for these professionals is around 30% per year, significantly higher than many other roles. Here’s why: 1. High Demand for Diverse Skills: Managers are expected to excel in SEO, SEM, SMM, content strategy, automation tools, and more. The breadth of expertise required can be overwhelming. 2. Constant Pressure to Perform: Delivering continuous results in sales and leads under constant scrutiny can lead to burnout and job dissatisfaction. 3. Competition from Outsourced Agencies: The threat of being replaced by more specialised and cost-effective outsourced agencies creates job insecurity. 4. Rapid Industry Changes: Keeping up with the fast-paced evolution of digital marketing tools and trends requires constant learning and adaptation. 5. Leadership Issues: Poor leadership and lack of support from higher management often contribute to frustration and higher turnover rates. 6. Limited Growth Opportunities: Despite potential high salaries, career advancement within the same organization can be limited, driving managers to seek better prospects elsewhere. Addressing these challenges involves better leadership practices, clearer strategic direction, and creating a supportive environment that recognizes the diverse skills and contributions of Digital Marketing Managers. #Branding #BrandManager #Communications #DigitalMarketing #DigitalMarketingManager #SocialMedia #SocialMediaManager #Talent #HR #Leadership #Manager #Hiring #SEO #SEOExpert #SEM #SMM #ContentWriting #ContentWriter #Sales #Marketing #LeadGeneration #PerformanceMarketing

Is your company so nitpicky in hiring that you're missing out on outstanding #socialmediamarketing candidates? As a #jobseeker, I'm seeing far too many companies posting virtually identical job descriptions for marketing and communications positions with one glaring difference: QUALIFICATIONS: * Must have X years of experience in [their specific industry or niche] Certainly some industries and companies need candidates with highly specialized experience, but in most cases, the fundamentals of marketing and communications don't change from business to business or industry to industry. The best social media marketers, copywriters, content marketers and communications specialists can adapt to whatever product or service you offer, whatever problems you solve and whatever market you want to reach. They are already adapting to day-to-day changes to algorithms, platforms and software. They are already developing content to engage different mediums and audiences. They are already adjusting calendars and strategies to meet the needs of an ever-changing landscape. So this goes out to all the talented #socialmedia marketers, digital marketers, copywriters, and comms folks out there trying to find a job: these companies don't know what they're missing out on. #digitalmarketingjobs #marketingjobs
