Is G-Cloud an SME’s strongest route to winning public sector contracts? 💪 The May 7th G-Cloud 14 bid submission deadline is fast approaching, and now is the time to ensure you are strategising to make the most of the opportunity it presents. ⏰ Historically, G-Cloud has been considered an accessible route to market for SMEs, but with the space getting more competitive, here's what you need to know before you bid: 🎯 SME Success: SME companies captured 42% of total spending through G-Cloud 13, significantly outpacing their average public sector contract win rate. 🚀 Crowded Marketplace: With SMEs making up 90% of suppliers, developing a proactive engagement strategy is going to be necessary to win contracts through the framework. 📈 Enterprise advantage: Enterprise businesses count for just 10% of G-Cloud suppliers but they are responsible for 56% of spend on the framework.
