At Tektronix Technology, we understand that one layer of security isn’t enough in today’s fast-paced world. That’s why our AI-powered access control system is built around multi-factor authentication (MFA)—a feature that ensures only the right people gain access. Here’s how MFA provides next-level protection: Layered Verification: Combine credentials like biometrics, PINs, and keycards for unparalleled security. Intrusion Detection: Detect and respond to unauthorized attempts in real time, reinforcing your access points. Tamper-Proof Systems: Prevent manipulation or breaches with technology designed for resilience. With multi-factor authentication, we don’t just protect your infrastructure—we fortify your peace of mind. Ready to embrace smarter, stronger security? Let’s connect. #AccessControl #MultiFactorAuthentication #AI #CyberSecurity #Innovation #TektronixTechnology #UAE #GCC How is your organization enhancing access control? 🌟 Which lesson did we learn from the #IT #outtake of #Microsoft? In which we saw millions of computers stopped working, several companies had an impact beyond solving the failure. Would our industry be prepared for the next outtake? It’s not a question that it will happen again, it’s a question by when and we should update our #crisis and #BusinessContinuity plans. #LessonLearned #CrisisManagement
Last week more than 8.5 million computers stopped working. The post-industrial and very much digital world in which we live, much of it anyway, came to a halt as well. Airlines couldn’t check in travellers. Hospitals had to find new ways to help patients, and restaurants resorted to pen and paper to take reservations. Cyber security company CrowdStrike inadvertently caused the chaos with a faulty update to its Falcon Sensor software. That software is supposed to detect cyber attacks, and prevent this sort of cataclysmic problem. The issue was fixed, mainly within 24 hours, but its residual effects, plus the millions in economic losses, has led many to think about what action is needed to prevent another IT meltdown. In this episode of Business Extra, host Cody Sigel Combs speaks to Igor Bershadsky, an expert in computer networking and cybersecurity, and co-founder of #Dubai based Phron.AI, to discuss the tech outage that crashed global systems. #IT #InformationTechnology #UAE #Technology #Cybersecurity #Business Produced by Doaa Farid & Arthur Eddyson

🚨 Are the UAE and Saudi Arabia becoming prime targets for cyberattacks? 🚨 🌍 The rise in hacktivism and cyberattacks across the Gulf Cooperative Council (GCC) region is alarming. According to Positive Technologies, a 70% increase in Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks has hit the region, particularly targeting public sector organizations. The UAE alone faces 50,000 cyberattacks daily, and hacktivist groups like BlackMeta are becoming bolder, as seen in their 100-hour attack on a UAE bank. The increase in these attacks may suggest that new threat actors are coming online, with novice hackers using DDoS attacks to disrupt systems and spread political messages. Data from Dark Web forums reveals that 54% of posts revolve around stolen data and illicit access, showing a disturbing trend of low-cost access to compromised systems being sold, especially from government agencies. As both the UAE and Saudi Arabia push for digital transformation and AI development, organizations in the region must ramp up their cybersecurity defenses to protect their infrastructures. 💬 How can organizations in high-risk regions better prepare for these growing cyber threats?
