Flight of the "Dark Eagle". 🇺🇸 In the USA, the latest hypersonic development was tested in the field. A long-range weapon (LRHW), also known as the "Dark Eagle", was tested, which is planned to be integrated into the structure of the US military, as well as into the intelligence services of Great Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. 🚀Dark Eagle is a medium-range surface-to-surface hypersonic missile. Its main task is to destroy important targets at a distance of up to 3000 km. 🚀 The system consists of a mobile launcher with two canisters, each containing a rocket booster and a hypersonic hull, which heads towards the target, reaching a maximum speed of Mach 17. This roughly corresponds to the speed of a spacecraft returning from orbit.

🇺🇸🛰️🙌 The United States Space Force has awarded SpaceX $733.5 million to launch nine satellites to enhance military communications and intelligence capabilities. The deal includes two contracts: the first involves seven missions for the Space Development Agency to deploy missile tracking and data relay satellites, while the second entails two missions for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) to operate the government’s spy satellites. As the Space Force works to address adversary capabilities that threaten the United States’ military satellites in orbit, outgoing Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall warns that the service needs to develop and field technology at a faster pace. “The place where I think we should be moving faster is counterspace.
