Great North Air Ambulance Service’s Post

Our team arrive on scene to a patient who is suffering a cardiac arrest. What can our team do to make a difference? Cardiac arrests are the most common type of incident we respond to; this year so far we've responded to an astonishing 382 call-outs where a patient's heart has stopped beating. Road ambulance crews do a fantastic job, but our critical care team are called when extreme interventions are needed. We hope you never need us, but we're here if you do.
