Czech Budweiser/Budvar reports record sales. Net profit increased by 46 percent. Budvar had a net profit of 12,7 Mil. USD last year, 46.3 percent higher than in 2022. Revenues from the sale of products and services rose by 11.4 percent year-on-year. The brewery also had record sales of 1.865 million hectoliters of beer last year, a year-on-year increase of 4.29 percent, according to the annual report. According to Budvar director Petr Dvořák, most markets, including the Czech one, contributed to last year's growth. "We managed to replace the loss of the Russian market in terms of export volume, and in addition to the development of existing markets, we succeeded in finding new opportunities, in terms of sales volumes we returned to the level of 2021. Domestically, there was an increase in volumes compared to the previous year, but we still did not succeed reach the level of 2021," said Dvořák. https://lnkd.in/eARxXhiX
