Increase ankle stability. Are you prone to turning your ankle, or coming back from a recent ankle operation/injury? If so, this may help to incorporate specific stability exercises into your weekly exercise routine. Start with a slightly unstable surface, increasing the instability as you feel your stabilisation improves. Keep the repetitions high. 15-20 for 2-3 sets. Once stronger, add in some plyometric ankle exercises.
