𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱? > Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the payments, e-commerce, or fintech industries. > Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, e-commerce platforms, and fintech solutions. > Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. > Fluent English speaker - verbal and written, other languages are a ‘nice to have’ but not critical > Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, both independently and as part of a team. I get ads every day telling us how we can hire someone for customer service for only $6/hr, and how it'll save us a ton of money having this "virtual" staff member because they're from another country. This is the first point of contact for my company. Why would I want someone who isn't a true staff member for that role? It doesn't matter where they're from -- why would I ever want to hire someone I'll never truly know or talk to, who doesn't know my brand and isn't paid enough to care about it to be the first point of contact we have? I get that folks like to save money but I do that by only hiring staff when I can afford them and allowing our staff to always be remote. And while I do partner with other companies (such as Impressions and Lucky Duck), I'm only partnering with folks that improve the perception and quality of our brand, rather than finding cheap ways to cut corners. Don't go cheap on your customer care or they'll consider your product cheap.
