Honoring Patriot Day Today, we observe Patriot Day, a solemn day of remembrance for the lives lost on September 11, 2001. Established by a joint resolution of Congress and signed into law by President George W. Bush in December 2001, Patriot Day honors the nearly 3,000 victims of the tragic attacks and recognizes the bravery of the first responders and ordinary citizens who risked their lives to save others. On this day, we reflect on the resilience and unity that emerged from such profound loss. We remember the courage and selflessness displayed and reaffirm our commitment to the values of freedom and democracy that define our nation. Call to Action: Moment of Silence: At 8:46 AM, the time the first plane struck the North Tower, observe a moment of silence to honor the victims. Volunteer: Engage in community service to honor the spirit of unity and service. Support First Responders: Express gratitude to local first responders and support organizations that assist them. Educate and Reflect: Share stories and lessons learned from 9/11 with younger generations. Let’s come together to honor and remember, and to continue to build a future rooted in unity and resilience. #PatriotDay #NeverForget #September11 #HonorTheFallen #FirstResponders #Unity #Resilience #ServiceAndSacrifice #AmericanHeroes

According the National WWII Museum (2024), the Holocaust was the result of step-by-step decisions by individuals that led to the largest genocide in the history of mankind in a wave of antisemitism, intolerance, and hatred. Not only do we need to remember, we need to advocate acceptance, tolerance, and love for humankind. Our children need to learn about the Holocaust to understand and know what hatred and unacceptance can do to a society. Learning today empowers future leaders of tomorrow. https://lnkd.in/gbtSGReJ

My G-d, we are really scraping the bottom of the barrel if this is something that people are seriously saying. This is just insanely ridiculous and stupid… #CandaceOwens #massively #embarrassed herself in this #cringeworthy video where she #minimizes #Hitler and the #Holocaust, #engages in #historical #revisionism and repeats #antiSemitic and #NeoNazi talking points. #Adolf #Hitler did much worse then just #ethnic #cleansing. He killed #six #million #Jews and #five #million others. The #Nazis committed #outright #genocide. She claims the #Allied #Powers #ethnically #cleansed #12 #million #Germans. This is total #nonsense and a #misunderstanding of #history. What she is referring to is the #ethnic #cleansing of #Germans from the #nations of #Eastern and #Central #Europe by the #Soviet #Union and the #governments of those #countries AFTER the #war. She clearly had no clue what she’s talking about and is #historically #illiterate. The #expulsion of #12 #million #ethnic #Germans from #Eastern and #Central #Europe in the #Postwar #era was to be sure a #terrible #tragedy and a #piece of #history that deserves to be more well known. But it can NOT be compared in any way, shape or form to the #Holocaust. The #Shoah was something completely different and was #oppression on a whole other #level! It’s one thing to #expel a whole group of people from a #country. That’s bad enough. But it’s quite another to start a #campaign of #systemic #murder to #wipe them out!
In the Candace Owens fictional account of WWII, the real victims were not the Jews but the Germans; the real villains, not the Axis but the Allies. She downplays the Holocaust while accusing the US and its allies of “ethnically cleansing Germans.” Those harboring hate in their heart can be either ignorant or malevolent. Candace Owens is both ignorant and malevolent, both stupid and sinister.
