GO Foundation - The Goodes O'Loughlin Foundation’s Post

While it’s been 15 years at GO, this isn’t the only number that tells our story! Here are the numbers we’re most proud of. 1,700 – the number of scholarships we’ve delivered to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students 176 – the number of GO students who have completed high school.   54% of GO's year 11 & 12 students want to pursue higher education. 90% GO students attend school compared to the national average of just over 80%.   78% of GO students complete the HSC compared to the national average of 66% for First Nations students. 60% of scholarships are awarded to girls. One third of GO students say they want to work in 'caring' professions, demonstrating a strong inclination towards giving back.   We take great pride in being able to witness the hard work and dedication GO students put in to achieving their dreams. Keep up the deadly work, everyone - you're making incredible strides towards your future! #GOFoundation #IndigenousEducation #BlackExcellence #AboriginalEducation #FirstNationsEducation #15YearsAtGO
