Thrilled to share we were in the The New York Times this week as an example of a #transportation solution that’s helping #agefriendly cities offer subsidized rides for #olderadults and those with #disabilities. In addition to offering our direct-to-consumer model since 2016, GoGoGrandparent has partnered with 250 health systems, retirement communities, nonprofits & government partners and counting across the U.S, focused on helping their communities age #independently through subsidized GoGoGrandparent #rides. But what does that really mean? It means more older adults are able to get to their scheduled doctor's appointments without asking for a favor or paying for a taxi. It means more people with disabilities can participate in #community events or visit their friends across town, helping reduce social #isolation. It’s always more than just a ride. It’s about the #freedom to get where you want and when you want, using a simple phone number to get you there. https://lnkd.in/gUBn38ZE

2wI love the concept of what this organization provides. As more seniors #ageinplace, transportation to doctor’s appointments is a big factor for consideration.
