I have an amazing opportunity to speak with a lot of medical professionals on The Real Estate Mogul M.D. podcast. I get to hear many of the issues and challenges being discussed on the "inside" of medicine. I always tell everyone that I am an "outsider" because I am NOT a physician but this gives an interesting contrasting perspective in our conversations. I am an entrepreneur which means that I am "self employed" and probably like many others, I do not have medical insurance. Why is there stigma around this? As I patient, I feel like I get treated differently and even charged differently. As a provider, you have to jump through hoops and play games as well. Insurance controls the money.
