It's easy to get bogged down into all the details involved in running an apartment community (and believe me, there are TONS of details) and forget that our residents are THE CORNERSTONE of our success. It's so important to screen for good tenants and once you have them, do all you can to make them happy. As we acquire more & more communities, I am continued to be reminded that our residents are at the heart of our success. There is DEFINITELY a place for budgets, spreadsheets and kpi's, but I am glad to be on a team that puts our residents as our first concern! Our Top 3 resident first actions: 1.
