Thank you, Dr Patricia Farris and Journal of Drugs in Dermatology (JDD), for sharing your insights in that post. I'd like to add some thoughts to further the discussion: 1/Most pressing issues in dermatology today: 1-1/ Access: I fully agree with your analysis. The lack of adequate care is detrimental; approximately 70% of dermatology patients suffering from skin diseases do not have access to care. While cosmetic dermatology is elective, access issues are even more pronounced, with about 90% facing barriers. 1-2/ Misinformation: This is a significant problem both for dermatology as a specialty, for dermatologists, and the entire industry. 2/ Artificial intelligence and digital transformation: These technologies have the potential to address the two issues mentioned above. A critical challenge will be the quality of datasets that our industry (#dermatology, #aesthetics, #skincare) can develop. If we don't take action, Web2 and tech players will step in and disrupt it. This is the space that the Skin & Digital Summit is shaping. #skindigitalsummit
