🏭The traditional textile industry is a typical high-energy, high-water and high-pollution industry. In particular, a large amount of wastewater and waste residue will be generated during the entire textile dyeing process. How to reduce water pollution has become a problem that plagues the global textile industry. The research and development of waterless dyeing technology is to reduce the generation of printing and dyeing wastewater from the source. The core is to use non-aqueous media for dyeing, such as supercritical carbon dioxide dyeing technology. Through pressurization, carbon dioxide is liquefied into a fluid medium. After dyeing is completed in this state, the pressure is reduced and the carbon dioxide can be recycled. The whole process does not require water washing and does not generate wastewater.🌫🌫🌫 ♻Waterless dyeing technology has achieved remarkable research results and industrialization progress, and is expected to further promote the green transformation of the textile industry in the future. Layo has been working hard to reduce water pollution in the production process, and has always insisted on innovative production to manufacture high-quality and environmentally friendly fabrics.💪💪💪 #Layo #Fabric #Textile #Fashion #Clothing #Garments #Trends #manufacturing #sustainable #Feature #knitting #woven #Brand

The #ConventionalDyeing is Not Sustainable, But Why?🤔 Conventional dyeing is one of the most resource-intensive processes in textile manufacturing. It involves significant amounts of water, chemicals, and energy to dye fabrics, which have profound environmental implications. To understand the environmental impacts of conventional dyeing, you need to learn the seven stages of it: 🧪Pre-Treatment: scoring and bleaching 🎨 Dye Bath Preparation: water and dye mixing, and heating the dye bath 🖌️Dyeing processes 🛁Rinsing 🔨Fixation 🧼Post-Treatment: soaping, softening, and drying 🔍Inspection and Quality Control Each stage uses excessive water, energy, and harmful chemicals, contributing to massive waste and pollution. In fact, the textile industry produces 300,000 tons of sludge waste annually from dyeing processes alone. 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧’𝐭 𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐞! 😳 But, together we can change it, by going digital. By embracing digital dyeing, we can cut down water usage by up to 95%, energy by up to 85%, and chemicals by up to 30%. Nonwoven fabric and embossing. Reviewing an article on Berry Plastic's newest innovation, it comes to mind how many applications on embossing are present in the world. This application is particularly interesting because of the nature of the nonwoven business. We are talking about as wide as five meter wide rolls that must be heated so that the pattern is more easily malleable. After all, it is plastic and the melting point allows for this process. Sounds easy enough someone from the self-adhesive industry would say but, to complicate it more, you have to insure the same temperature on the web across those five meters and, what it seems like with this highly texturized material from Berry, there may be a male and female roll that must be controlled. For those in-the-know, this is interesting isn't it? Now imagine damaging a small portion of these rolls. What a disaster. Does anyone want to weigh in on this subject?
