In 2020, KeyPleaz launched a SaaS-based platform that allows busy agents to enlist the support of available agents within the brokerage to perform tasks for a fee. The KeyPleaz app can be downloaded from the Company’s website (www.keypleaz.com) or directly from the Apple App Store or Google Store. A KeyPleaz transaction involves a “Hiring Agent” engaging a “Servicing Agent” to perform certain services that the Hiring Agent is unable to perform for a client due to time constraints or other conflicts. These services may include, but not limited to, opening a door for a client or prospect, conducting an open house, providing access to the home for contractors, inspectors, repair technicians, appraisers, movers, etc.

Here’s 3 reasons why you’re skint as a Specialist Trade / Contractor: 1. You accept retention - 5% retention for most will be at least 60% of the profit in your prices. It’s taken off your “bottom” line, not “top” (massive difference when you realise). 2. You keep working after payment is delayed - Payment due to land on Friday but no valid Pay Less received, not even a call to explain and then the games start. By the time you try finding somebody to help its 2-3 months in and cashflow is shot. Then they bump you or go under. 3. You give a discount for early payment - This is perhaps the worst. At least with retention and delayed payment, it’s supposed to land eventually. With discounts, you never see it. And chances are you’ll still be paid late anyway. If nothing else, these 3 things will massively improve your chances of surviving a toxic industry.
