Today holds a special place in our hearts. We will take time today for reflection, gratitude, and a collective commitment to never forget the sacrifices of those who served in the military. We honour the sacrifices of Canadian military personnel that have served for our country. ♡ ~ Will Good

LtCol Scheller is spot on. 28 of the 34 recently retired four-star U.S. military officers went to work for the arms industry, a revolving door that drives soaring profits and near-record military spending. "The revolving door is a problem because it creates the appearance—and in some cases the reality—of conflicts of interest in the making of defense policy and in the shaping of the size and composition of the Pentagon budget." Beyond the $200k+- pension for life, many General's also finagle 100 percent VA disability benefits - because of their rank and influence. These perfumed princesses developed a military culture where they are untouchable and beyond scrutiny.....as evident by their piss poor performance in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kabul Debacle.... We have undoubtedly the best military with unmatched equipment and superior troops....but we lack the senior military leadership. Lions led by self-serving Sheep. General's (and politicians) should be barred from holding shares and working for the MIC, defense related corporations, foreign governments....for 5 years after retirement.
Talked to Ramaswamy about the corruption in America's senior military ranks. The American military is rotting from within. While General Mattis (General Dynamics), General Dunford (Lockheed Martin), and other prominent military personalities profit off war and the efforts of young enlisted service members, people like Ramaswamy bring attention to the problems. It was cool meeting him.

Today’s chaplains are military professionals specially trained to serve any spiritual need, for military personnel and their families, regardless of religious affiliation, ethnicity, or gender. Nearly 3,000 chaplains from the Army, Navy, and Air Force served in Vietnam, each chaplain with a vastly different experience of the war. So sad what has become of our leadership in government?
Justin your far left ideologies and actual hatred of how North America came to be are pathetic. You wrongly cite colonialism as being rampant in our military, policing and Canada itself. Is that your excuse for underfunding the Military. Our forefathers fought for the common good and sacrificed their lives. You put our people in harms way without proper equipment. You make them pay for their meals whilst fighting away from home. Yes you take food from the soldiers family table. Yet you spend $6,000 a night for a hotel room. Pathetic. https://lnkd.in/eWCRpZ7Z

Congress replied to Morris’ budget by slashing the proposed amount for almost every department. Civil and Military staff was cut by 33%. The Clothing Department was cut by 85%. The Marine Department was cut by 88%. Morris had to postpone his plan of creating a naval force, starting with six ships. #History #FoundingFathers #Entrepreneur #AmericanHistory #RobertMorris #InsideTheRevolution #BusinessLeader #AmericanRevolution

Anthropy Chairman, the largest leadership gathering focused on the UK's future : Previous EMEA Managing Partner of Omnicom's 100 Agency Group: Serial Philanthropist: See: www's .Anthropy.uk & .johnobrien.world
Today, whilst on my travels, I had the privilege of re-visiting after many years, the Commando Memorial in Lochaber, a poignant tribute to the Army Commandos of WWII and the Royal Marines who have carried on their legacy. Although I am ex Army, I am not commando-trained, but know some Anthropists who are, namely the ex- Royal Marines. They would undoubtedly recognize the formidable motto inscribed: 'United We Conquer.' This visit reminded me of the power of unity in such dire times, both in the past and the need for it today. As a nation, I believe if we come together in the spirit I have always envisioned for Anthropy, we can tackle pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges. However, achieving this requires the same determination, bravery, initiative, and purposefulness demonstrated by the commandos. It also now requires this of our new Government, given its minority of votes, regardless of its majority of seats. It also requires those who didn’t vote #Labour to be open to such collective endeavour. If I have one call from seeing this again, it is to channel this Anthropic spirit and collaboration, towards conquering the issues that impact us all. Together, we can make a difference, or as it says, ‘United We Conquer’. #UnitedWeConquer #AnthropySpirit #CommunityResilience Ben Brabyn Lee E Collins MBA PMP FIoL #Anthropy #Anthropist
