**🎧Double Header🎧 on The Raad Life Tomorrow! 🎙️** I’m excited to announce **two back-to-back candidate spotlight interviews** tomorrow on The Raad Life, where we’ll get to know local candidates in Orange County beyond the usual campaign soundbites. 🕐 **1:00 PM** – Tammy Kim, candidate for Mayor of Irvine 🕟 **3:30 PM** – Ross Chun, running for re-election to the City Council in Aliso Viejo One of the reasons I’m passionate about hosting these interviews is because I believe 🗳️candidates & voters don’t often get fair chance to truly connect🤝 Too often, candidates are reduced to **forums and debates** where they have only a few minutes to answer complex questions – the same ones asked of every other candidate. While these forums have value, they don't offer voters the depth and nuance needed to understand what really drives each candidate or how they would govern. That’s where The Raad Life’s ⏳ hour-long, one-on-one interviews 🗪 come in. These sit-down conversations are designed to give each candidate space to share their story, vision, and priorities, without the constraints of a timer. It’s our way of helping voters make informed, thoughtful decisions this election season by providing more than just headlines and soundbites. 🗓️ Date: Wednesday, October 23rd ⏰ LIVE at 1PM and AGAIN at 3:30 PM! 💥 📍 Where: OCTalkRadio.biz 📢 **So tune in and be part of the conversation!** These discussions are for you, the voters, and I look forward to sharing two meaningful sessions tomorrow. #OCelections #TammyKim #RossChun #TheRaadLife #LocalPolitics #CandidateSpotlights #GetInformed #Election2024 #IrvineMayor #AlisoViejo #CommunityMatters #VoterEducation #CivicEngagement #OCLeadership #VoteSmart #CaliforniaElections #RepresentationMatters

With the New Hampshire #primary this week, I think it's worth talking about #candidate voice. Candidate voice or authenticity is critical for national elections. The best candidates are the ones who connect with the people. Connection requires authenticity. No matter what you think of certain candidates, the ones that catch wind come with the aura of authenticity. In words, in speech, in connection, these candidates come across as genuine in action. It's also why certain candidates flame out. They lack that aura because their stances or personality feel polished, tested, created, manufactured, rehearsed, or fake. These candidates do not surround themselves with serious people to direct their campaign, instead hoping they say the magic words and win an election. Now, authenticity does not INHERENTLY make a good politician or a good elected official. Obviously, but if you want to build a movement, if you want to build an apparatus, people have to like you on some level. They have to believe that what you are saying comes from a place of honest belief. Otherwise, they'll find another candidate. #primaries #campaigns #elections2024 #communications #politics

Community Members could create posts (issues, polls, interviews, and speeches) and events that were tagged to specific topics and locations. By following fellow community members who shared their views they could create a network capable of organizing for issues and causes. When a community member rated posts created by elected officials or candidates they provided feedback that was used to gauge whether a policy proposal or viewpoint was popular or should be reconsidered. Community members could also join a candidates campaign to volunteer in various ways including door knocking, phone banking, and hosting events. The ability to create events allowed community members to join together to make their voices heard when there was an issue or cause that their representative was not taking appropriate action on. When community members were engaged with their representatives, candidates, and issues on Ulection, more democratic policies were shaped, better candidates won elections, and a more cohesive community was be formed.

🎤 Interviewer: "Teapot, who do you think will win the U.S. presidency this year?" 🫖 Teapot: [whistles dramatically] "Oh, honey, I don't get involved in politics, but I can tell you this—whoever keeps the tea hot and the gossip hotter gets my vote!" 🎤 Interviewer: "So, what’s your advice to the candidates?" 🫖 Teapot: "Simple! Don’t spill the tea... unless it’s the good kind! And always keep things brewing smoothly—nobody likes a cold campaign." #ElectionTeaTime #PresidentialPredictions #SipAndVote
