Founder of Virtus Accounting Solutions | Trusted advisor to purpose-driven entrepreneurs | I help small businesses save time and gain financial clarity so they can make more confident decisions
As I reflect on the week that's wrapping up, I was reminded of the blessing of relationships. I work remotely, which has many benefits, but from time to time it can feel a little lonely. This week I had the opportunity to meet in person with a new friend and LinkedIn connection (shoutout to Brandon Lee, who might not be as funny as a comedian, but is still a great person to talk to 🙂). I had lunch with a friend from church (Andrew Blair, who is a fellow bean counter) and enjoyed great conversation about kids, camping, accounting, and the joys of growing up in the '90's. I also had the opportunity to spend some time with my friends at Phase Family Center (Frank Bealer, Stacie Williams, Jeff Williams), who do some amazing work serving families in Alpharetta and Washington D.C., and who serve churches all of the country. If you don't know them, you should absolutely check them out. And they're a fun bunch of people to hang out with. I'm an introvert, so after a week of meetings, both virtual and in person, I'm ready to unplug for the weekend. But I ended the week with a full tank, thankful for the blessing of spending time with some great people this week. #RelationshipBuilding #CelebrateConnections #WorkplaceRelationships #ConnectAndCelebrate #BusinessNetworking #CareerConnections #SocialCapital #LinkedInNetworking #CelebrateSuccess #ProfessionalGrowth #BuildingConnections #SuccessThroughRelationships #BuildingTogether #StrongConnections

FAMILY FIRST… Putting your family first is a commendable value that’s worth emulating… But navigating the fast-paced world of finance while nurturing a fulfilling family life is a balancing, often challenging act that many of us understand. It's a constant juggle between beating deadlines, quotas, and sometimes, eggs 😅 for your child’s snacks. I've found that building a strong support network is essential. My family's understanding and my team's collaborative spirit have been instrumental in keeping my sanity intact. It's a give-and-take relationship – we commit to our work, and each of us supports our personal lives - in a way that we encourage one another to finish the task right away (yet excellently) so that we may call it a day and go home to our families. I love this practice! We remind each other that it’s okay to prioritize, to delegate, and to seek help when needed. After all, creating values that will benefit generations takes a whole lot of effort - not just from you, but from the whole community 🙂 Beyond grateful to the team I belong to! What values do you want to create for yourself and your loved ones today? 😀 #LBFalumni #skyightower #sg #singapore #worklifebalance #singaporelife #financialindustry #familyfirst #teamwork
