Top 5 Common Mistakes When Brewing Coffee at Home ☕❌ Brewing the perfect cup of coffee at home can be tricky, but avoid these common mistakes, and you’ll be sipping on barista-quality coffee in no time! Using Stale Coffee Beans Freshness is key! Always use freshly ground coffee beans for the best flavour. Stale beans can result in a flat, bland brew. Incorrect Water Temperature Water that’s too hot or too cold can ruin your coffee. Aim for water between 90°C and 96°C for a perfect extraction. Skipping the Clean-Up A dirty coffee machine can seriously affect the taste of your brew. Make sure to clean it regularly to maintain a great flavour! Not Measuring Coffee Correctly The right coffee-to-water ratio is essential. Too much coffee and it’ll be too strong, too little and it’ll be weak. Invest in a good scale for consistency. Using Poor-Quality Water Bad water equals bad coffee. Always use filtered water to ensure your coffee tastes its best. Don’t let these mistakes ruin your brew!
