"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." - Helen Keller This brand challenge #1 is the result of our examination in the first module of the Full Stack Digital Marketing program at Purwadhika Digital Technology School. In this project, we conducted analysis and research on two logistics brands, PT. Tiki Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE) and SICEPAT EKSPRES INDONESIA. We gathered data from January to March 2024, concerning indicators related to digital marketing for both brands, including social media and website analysis, along with creative design and SEO article recommendations for each brand. This task was completed thanks to good teamwork with Group 4, consisting of Febrianti Nursafitri, Zakaria Nurhadi, Bagas Nawal and and Helva Saftiari Rahayu. On 27 September 2023, Indonesia officially implemented new regulations on Perdagangan Melalui Sistem Elektronik (PMSE) - Permendag No. 31/2023, which include a ban on social media platforms facilitating online transactions 🛍📱 🤝 Kadin Indonesia is committed to ensuring that industry voices are heard within the framework of these new regulations. 📊 Our Trade Division, Entrepreneurship Division, and Communication and Information Division held discussions to provide policy recommendations so that the regulations concerning the operational business models of social commerce in Indonesia are included in the legal framework, similar to e-commerce business models. 🗣 Coordinating Vice Chairman of Trade of Kadin Indonesia, Juan P. Adoe, outlined our stance regarding issues tied to the social commerce model's impact on MSMEs and trade in Indonesia. "Kadin Indonesia supports the presence of the social commerce model but recommends it be regulated in line with existing e-commerce laws. Products sold on social commerce platforms must be permitted, and practices harmful to local MSMEs must be avoided." 💡 Kadin Indonesia proposes that social commerce companies assist MSMEs in entering the international market to maintain a balance between local and international MSMEs products. Outcomes of these discussions include the formation of a task force to articulate industry aspirations and input. The same goes for MRTJ, social media become one of the most important tools for spreading the information and corporate values to Public, also other Stakeholders, and make engagement with them. How to manage it effectively is challenging while it is also interesting to keep up with trend, algorithm, relevance with the audience.
