I have been a mentor at Claylab Education Foundation since last year, April 2023. I helped some of my mentees with their career paths and understood their interests, hobbies, dislikes, and likes. Most importantly, I talked to them and enhanced their communication skills and mine as well. I hope applicants apply for the role of mentor to guide their mentees. Sharing something: I was teaching my younger brother a year earlier for his 9th grade CBSE and got to know that he didn't know about many things, like which books📚 should be followed apart from NCERT and, most importantly, how to read this book that is currently going on. Career counseling: I figured out that he is not good at mathematics but has some interest in literature and playing cricket, which is to polish. Math tips: As an example, I told him that you have to understand and practice some important theorems and their converse as much as possible, which could help you score more marks in an exam. Myth: Topper students read books only once and remember all the things in the books 📚, which I used to think in high school. Burst: You have to read it as much as you can because our memory can't remember or understand it all at once. In my case, I believe that career counseling for mentees (students) is more important than forcing them to learn all the things because they may have a keen interest in one thing more. I know another subject must be learned also, but he or she just understands the basics. Yeah, you can understand the background and help them accordingly. Check out my comment as well. Thank you!

🌟 This year, for Know Your Classmates Day, we invite middle schoolers to share their unique stories and experiences. Our theme, "Tell Your Story, Know Your Classmates," focuses on the power of voice and listening to build authentic connections. 📚💬 Why is storytelling so important? Because it helps us understand one another beyond surface level. When students share their personal stories, they give others a glimpse into their world—their backgrounds, cultures, and challenges. 🌍 This exchange builds empathy, fosters understanding, and strengthens belonging in the classroom. Let’s use stories to build bridges, end social isolation, and create classrooms where everyone belongs. ❤️ 📅 Sign up for our free program and celebrate Know Your Classmates Day with us on October 11! All of my teachers are coming back today, and here’s how I’m planning on spending Day 1: 🩷 Connecting — We’re vibing out! We’ll be talking about our summer breaks, cracking jokes, looking throw summer pictures, and kickin’ it! 🩵Celebrating our wins from last year — We had so. many. wins. — I’m taking the time to remind my team WHO WE ARE + what we’ve accomplished so far — We can’t talk about where we’re going UNTIL we talk about where we came from 🩷 Reflecting on our areas of growth — There are things we need to get better at, and we’re gonna get real about those things 🩵 Deep diving into goals for this year — We have ambitious goals for this year + everyone’s gonna KNOW we can meet them because… we did it last year — We’re not new to this, we’re true to this! 🩷Explore HOW we’re gonna meet our goals. — We’ll build team norms together, strengthen our vision for lesson prep and responding to data, + strengthen our vision for creating a joyful student and family experience 🩵 Gratitude+ Shoutouts — We always close out with gratitude, shoutouts, and appreciation for each other A light and inspirational day to kick-off what will be our best year yet. (You can quote me on that.) —— Hi, I’m Alicia. 💜 I help school leaders build joyful + excellent schools for students and staff. Want to connect? Follow (🔔) or DM me.

The gift that keeps giving? That's a teacher. Have you ever stood before a group, with a chalk or marker in hand, guiding minds on a slate, black or whiteboard? Or perhaps you have never been in front of a classroom, but you have helped someone navigate through confusion, showing them the way when they were almost lost? Maybe you have tutored a friend or classmate, helped a colleague meet that tight deadline, or facilitated a session, sharing your knowledge with an audience, whether in person or online, speaking to people you have never met. Perhaps you have led a team, offering strategic insights to achieve big goals, or being a mentor or coach to some enthusiastic minds. Or as a parent, you have guided or still guiding your children along their journey of life, showing them the pathways and helping them understand things they never know. All these are forms of teaching. In one way or another, we’re all teachers. Our perspectives, values, and ambitions are often shaped by those who have taught us. For many, teaching is more than just a job, it is a calling. We know our WHY; and it goes beyond paychecks or speaking at the front of the room. Today, I celebrate every teacher, in every form. Thank you for showing up, shaping lives, and molding values. You make possibilities real in every lesson. Happy World Teachers' Day.🎊💪🏽❤️ #Worldteachersday #Oct5th
