As we head into the weekend, many vet practices will be closed to some extent to give their teams a rest. We had a catch up with a clinic yesterday and reviewed their last 6 months. There had been 174 uses of VidiVet by their clients and only a few had needed to go to the emergency vets. Based on what they saw as average out of hours bills, they estimated we had saved their clients £75,000 while they were closed in that period. Now that is something for clinics to be shouting about. Clients only needed to go the emergency vet if it was warranted meaning the emergency teams could focus on the cases that truly needed their attention whilst most clients had peace of mind overnight and saw their normal vets in the next couple of days.
