The Undaunted are fascinated about the central role of 'the misfits', the 'rare breed', that Sunny Bonnell talks about in this post. We have written much on this over the years - about the intimate, often traumatic stories of being an outsider, othered, gaslighted, marginalised and exhausted by anxiety and perpetual masking through to the systemic nature of brittle, linear systems and the need for this to change. As I state in my profile, 'It is wrong to think that the 'crazy ones' are the outliers/outsiders of anything, particularly systems and society. If anything, they should reside at the core of everything where a riot of colourful, nonlinear, fully interconnected choices and actions are in stasis but not bound by linear thinking'. I am a marathon reader I take my time and read for days on a fixed scale to keep the interest constant But about 4 days back I started sprinting with this book, I just kept reading, There were no index checks, Chapter progress or even awareness. The moment I started reading this one, I was inside there and felt like I could visualise everything so well More than the book it's the writer's way of narrating like a simple man with no complex vocabulary, Just somebody normal sharing a month of his life and things connecting around it. If you know the SEAL before reading this book, Then you're on a different journey than reading without knowing who he was in the book. If you don't know, I'd ask you to do me a favour and pick this book up asap. It's not about just impact but the whole mentality, It's on a different level. It's not orthodox, He's too detached, Too frank and straight no drama no fluff. Beyond the idea of going past the physical limits, This book actually connected with many choices in a very twisted way of mine. I personally love this read, The last time I sprint over a book was The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I had no idea why I read or bought this book, Found it along my kindle library, The reading experience felt like putting up a virtual reality adventure as I went on! Highly Recommend. Being a professional artist isn't all about creation. This is just a small sampling of my business bookshelf that happens to be my current focus. Those who know me know that I am #alwaysreading and constantly have multiple books going on kindle, on audible, and good old fashioned physical copies. I soak up information like a sponge and then look for new and different ways to apply it to my business, my art, and myself. (And of course there is often a good spy or romance novel thrown in there for fun.) None of us can do this work alone.
