Your team is one of your biggest untapped marketing assets. Here’s how to get them posting without feeling overwhelmed: 1. Explain the why. Show them how their personal presence builds trust for your brand. People want to connect with humans, not logos. 2. Make content plug-and-play. Provide templates for posts. A simple outline can work wonders: → “Here’s what I’m working on today…” → “One thing I learned last week…” → “Here’s something I’m excited about…” These prompts remove the fear of starting from scratch. 3. Create a shared bank of ideas. Build a simple document or Slack channel where anyone can add topics, updates, or wins. Now, your team doesn’t have to brainstorm alone. 4. Give them ownership. Assign each person a focus: → Engineers share product updates. → Sales share customer stories. → Founders share the vision. When roles are clear, posts come naturally. 5. Celebrate participation, not perfection. Publicly shout out team members who post, even if the posts aren’t polished. It builds momentum and shows that showing up matters more than being perfect. When your team understands the why and has a clear how they’ll start posting without you nudging them.

Putting together a killer marketing team is kind of like crafting a perfect campaign – it’s gotta be bold, fun, and just the right level of chaos! Here’s what to keep in mind: 1. The Visionaries vs The Doers: You need dreamers who think in big, bold ideas AND the ones who can roll up their sleeves to make it happen. Balance is everything! 2. Diversity is not just backgrounds, but mindsets! You want a meme king/queen , a data wizard , a wordsmith , and the person who lives on trends and YouTube. Everyone brings their own secret sauce! 3. Energy, Energy, Energy!: The team vibe should be like a viral reel – engaging, fast-paced, and a little offbeat. Bring the energy and make sure it stays high! 4. Communication is Gold: Whether it’s Slack, emails, or good ol' face-to-face brainstorms, make sure everyone’s in the loop! No one likes being the last to know about the big launch. 5. Nurture Creativity: Give them space to experiment, fail, and try again. Creativity doesn’t happen in a straight line – sometimes it zigzags, somersaults, and lands upside down 6. Celebrate Every Win: Whether it’s launching a successful campaign, or just making it through a Monday, throw a mini-celebration! Keep morale high and make success feel sweet! 7. Hire People smarter than you not like you: The secret sauce! Surround yourself with people who know things you don’t – it’s a fast pass to marketing glory. At the end of the day, building a team is all about good vibes, smart work, and having fun along the way. Take a few risks by hiring the odd ones, in the end you’ll have a crew that’s not just killing it in the boardroom but having fun along the way! #marketingsquad #teamvibes #MakeItHappen #marketing #marketingteam #teamwork

Last week, I spoke with the founder of a marketing agency who was struggling to keep his team aligned with the firm’s long-term goals. He felt like every department was operating independently, focused on their own metrics, rather than the bigger picture. So, we started digging into his firm’s vision. When was the last time he shared it with his team? How often did he connect their day-to-day work to that mission? Turns out, it had been months since not only a team-wide discussion about the “why” behind their work, but MONTHS since a team-wide discussion at all. I shared with him a strategy for keeping the vision front and center: Hold quarterly "Vision Check-ins." During these, revisit the firm’s goals, highlight milestones achieved, and tell stories about how individual contributions made those wins possible. I spoke with another member a few hours later and riffing off of my last call I asked how they handle this. She told me she takes a more personal approach. She spends 15 minutes each week in one-on-one chats with her team, asking them: 1. How do you see your role connecting to our firm’s goals? 2. Is there anything you need to feel more connected to the team? She mentioned that these conversations often reveal hidden issues and generate ideas for her to use to keep her team motivated. A strong vision aligns the organization. When your team feels their work is a part of something bigger, they’re not just employees—they’re stakeholders in the future of the firm.

Just finished an onboarding call with a client. A 20-min call where we shared: 👉 A quick list of things we need 👉 Timelines for each work phase of the project 👉 How we plan to meet deadlines and track KPIs even though there will be edits and revisions from their end. “Wow, you are so organised Krati, I’m not used to this. I’m actually excited to work with you!” 😍 My processes surprise and impress my clients. ✨Appreciation for the communication ✨That’s a normal for my agency. A non-negotiable norm. P.S. We’re looking to help 3 Founders scale and monetise their social media/website in August. If your business making over 10L/month, DM me “scale” to know more. #socialmediamarketing #marketingagency

Being a solo marketer at your company can be difficult with so many different tasks. I have found the best way to keep myself organized and efficient is how I group my tasks in my digital planner. Each task lives in a different bucket, examples being website, photos, internal, swag, etc. Within each task, I put all of the necessary information, links, documents, and due dates so I can easily switch from one task to another to get tasks accomplished. Let’s be real—marketing on a tight budget isn’t easy. But hey, when has that ever stopped us? 💡 Sometimes, the best ideas come when we’re forced to get scrappy and think outside the box. It’s not about how much we have to spend; it’s about how we show up for our audience, how we tell our story, and how we connect in ways that actually matter. This year, let’s lean into creativity, collaboration, and strategy. Because great campaigns aren’t built on big budgets—they’re built on bold ideas. We’ve got this. 💪 #MarketersOnAMission #CreativityOverCash #MakingItWork"
