Today, at our Office Friday, I delivered a presentation on AWS Lambda invocations and effective best practices (photo on the comments). AWS Lambda functions, are SERVERLESS compute services, offering efficiency and cost-effectiveness for many industries. However, improper configurations can lead to increased costs, impacting both customers and companies. #AWS #Lambda #Monitor #Invocations #CostOptimization #BestPractices #tecRacer

Its more than 2 weeks since Llama 3.1 is released, but still I couldn't find any of the variants of 3.1 in AWS Bedrock as serverless inference APIs. Is AWS lagging behind or am I missing something? I can only see llama3. #aws, #awsbedrock, #llama3.1, #serverlessapi, #generativeai, #genai

For those of you who may have missed the Amazon Web Services (AWS) re:Invent last week I was happy to see that one of the most important sessions is now available from Youtube. Link in comments below. Check out Muneer Mirza keynote showcasing the innovation coming out of AWS for digital workspaces with a couple great case studies from Ferrari and Bloomberg. I was especially taken with the section starting about 18:08 :) Look for innovation coming from ControlUp and Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2025! #daas #reinvent #aws #controlup #dex

"Saving on AWS? If not, what are you waiting for?" At last year's reInvent, our CTO Rahul Subramaniam gave a session at reInvent with that title. Some crazy quotes from Rahul about AWS usage: > "The average utilization of EC2 instances is just about 6%." > "Over 90% of objects stored in S3 are accessed just once in their entire lifetime." > "Default networking configurations are at least 300% more expensive than optimized setups." > "Managing your own database instances can cost twice as much as using serverless options." > "Modernizing to the latest EC2 generation can significantly reduce costs." There are just a few of the surprising hard truths in AWS usage. The great thing? These are fixable problems! https://lnkd.in/gTju4Zm6
