Scam Alert: Know the Difference!" Not all scams are created equal. While a friend borrowing ₹500 and forgetting to return it might seem like a small scam ("Yeh Chhota Scam Hai"), falling victim to fake calls from so-called "banks" asking for sensitive information like your debit card PIN is a major issue ("Yeh Bada Scam Hai"). Stay vigilant and protect yourself from financial fraud. Remember, banks never ask for your PIN, passwords, or OTPs over the phone. Always verify before sharing any details and report suspicious activities. With so many security protocols around card payment online and offline, you would think that fraud is a thing of the past... You would be wrong 😉 (of course, there is always that chance that you can help a Nigerian prince unlock his heritage by transferring him some money) 😎 It's an ecosystem on its own. As we make it harder to cheat using technology, fraudsters find new ways to do it because we always want things to be easier. For instance, even though fake credit card scams are going down, scams involving stealing someone's account info are going up 😒 According to some reports, for around 50% of merchants number 1 priority is reducing frauds and chargebacks because and they are not "shy" to use solutions that can help them. Below you can see some of the players in space. It's a pretty crowded market as is so M&A activity is bound to happen. Who will buy who...that is a million $ question 💶💶💶 Thank you Flagship Advisory Partners for the picture!
