Join me in celebrating National Black Business Month by shouting out your business or one you know. Like 👍 and 𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓 🔄 to raise the awareness. Black-American owned government contractors were awarded $5B in federal contracts in 2023. Sounds like a lot, but that's out of $745 billion dollars. I'm committed to seeing that number be much higher. 14% of Americans are Black-Americans. 14% of $745 billion dollars is $104 billion dollars. Black-American owned businesses make up the backbone of America in towns and cities across the country. Celebrating Donald Lamar who not only runs his own business, but also supports the UGA SBDC at Georgia State University and serves as Director of Entrepreneurial Services at Morehouse College. He has an event coming up (Federal Contracting Summit) on September 13th where you can meet him and many business owners.
