The Positioning-to-Win (PTW) Analyst profession requires a self-motivated individual who independently formulates and refines timely market-driven estimates of what a Capture Team must bid to win a competitive pursuit. The PTW Analyst generates price targets and non-price ratings which serve as the design compass for the capture team. This entails collection and data analysis of customer's needs, values, and award biases coupled with market information such as sales, technology development and method of operation plus anticipated competitor team(s) win and pricing strategy.
