But your best resource is to leverage industry-leading opportunity aggregators like GovWin IQ. Once you've found a potential opportunity, you'll need to submit a proposal. Here are 5 quick tasks government contractors can do this week to increase your chances of winning federal contracts. Do them before your week gets away from you! 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 ➤ Check DSBS to make sure your Capability Statement URL is actually pointing back to your website. By making federal buyers go to your website to download it, they'll be able to learn more about your company. ➤ Upload a PDF of your Capability Statement onto your LinkedIn personal profile page. You can add this to the 'Experience' section or in the 'Featured' section. When someone looks at your profile, you want to make it easier for them learn more about your company. 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 / 𝐑𝐅𝐈 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 ➤ Check for new Sources Sought notices in SAM or your contract vehicle portals. ➤ As we head into the second half of the fiscal year, more and more RFI/Sources Sought notices will drop and you want to check at least once a week. ➤ If you set a saved search in SAM, it literally should take you 5 minutes or less for this review. 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 ➤ Pick three people from your network that you want to build a strategic relationship with. This can be federal buyers or industry partners. ➤ Now plan to reach out to them this week. You can use an email, LinkedIn, or picking up the phone. ➤ The idea is to make sure you're proactively building those relationships. 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝐏𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 ➤ Pick your top three opportunities in your sales pipeline and plan one task for each that will move the sale forward. ➤ It could be reaching out to the buyer, planning capture tasks that need to be done, or identifying teaming partners. ➤ The point is to just move each of these opportunities forward a little bit each week. This task is about planning out the tasks, not the actual doing each task - that comes later. ___________________________________ 🔥 Join 14,787 others and subscribe to our GovCon newsletter | https://lnkd.in/es6qfwgk 👀 Follow me (Neil McDonnell) on LinkedIn and hit the 🔔 on my profile to see more government contracting content like 28,625 other people do.

I help grow companies | Navy SEAL Veteran | Former Chief of Staff to the Under Secretary of the Navy (SES-III)
When I find something amazing that will help you, I am going to share it. If you do any U.S. Government contracting anywhere in the world (or want to in the future), this one is for you! In a world where efficiency marries innovation, I found an AI-driven platform that transforms the daunting task of responding to U.S. Government RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs. Here are the top three (3) most compelling performance points: First, it brings unparalleled speed, turning weeks of work into hours, ensuring opportunities are never missed. Second, its precision and adaptability ensure proposals are tailored to perfection, reflecting the unique needs and language of each solicitation. Finally, it liberates human creativity, allowing teams to focus on strategic insights rather than administrative tasks. Together, we're not just responding; we're redefining the future of government contracting. On average, we can either get four (4) times the number of RFPs out in the same amount of time. Or, we can spend 25% of the time it usually takes us to get a RFP out, and use the other 75% of the new found time on other profitmaking activities. If any of this sounds interesting to you, please respond in the comments or DM me. Let’s solve the problem of fulfilling the acquisition needs of the U.S. Government more efficiently. Let's do this! The X-Factor in Government Proposals: It's Not Just About Checking Boxes 📦 Government contracting proposals are a marathon, not a sprint. We all know the importance of a compliant response, but here's the secret sauce: Don't just meet the requirements, exceed expectations. 💼 Yes, following the Solicitation is crucial. But winning proposals go a step further. They demonstrate a deeper understanding of the agency's goals and challenges. 🎯 Here's the X-factor: Anticipate their unsaid needs. Propose innovative solutions that address potential roadblocks before they arise. Showcase your team's expertise not just through certifications, but through tangible results on similar projects. 💡 Think of it this way: You're not just checking boxes, you're building trust. You're convincing the agency that you're not just a vendor, you're a strategic partner who can deliver exceptional results. 🚀 #GovCon #ProposalWriting #GovernmentContracts #ProposalTips #Contragenix P.S. What are some creative ways you've seen proposals go the extra mile? Share your thoughts in the comments! ✨"
