And if not, he will find it. Then, we both know the answer for future reference." Some of the students got stuck after "What's your name?" and "What do you do?" at our networking workshop. They feel like they cannot ask anything not professionally-related during networking. We told them to ask about their job as follow ups: What is your favorite part about your job? What are your challenges? What is your company culture like? Meanwhile, in the back of the room, Michelle Quevedo-Penn and I reminisced about me breaking the ice by talking about a great carnitas joint around the corner from where we were and how she was looking for ways to welcome new team members. 😆 So, what is your networking style? Are you all business? Or are you more casual? What are some of your networking icebreaker questions? And why is it not "What's your favorite dinosaur?" #networkingtips #professionaldevelopment
