#GreenTech - A record 199.275 applications was filed at the European Patent Office in 2023, with Germany filing 12,5% of the total. Cutting-edge developments in digital and green tech are tackling global challenges, often powered by AI for cleaner, energy-efficient solutions. 🌍 The growing interest from innovators around the world emphasises the attractiveness of the European technology market. Driving sustainable innovation. The chemical industry can significantly accelerate its green transition through the strategic use of digital technologies. That was the key takeaway message of three sessions at ACHEMA 2024, where experts explored AI & quantum computing, data sharing, and maximising the benefits of the green and digital transition. To do this, the industry needs to attract new talent with digital skills, form partnerships, and engage with policymakers.
