Merrell, a renowned outdoor footwear brand, has announced the appointment of Noreen Naroo Pucci as its new Chief Product Officer. Adi Dassler was a pioneering figure in the sports shoe industry. He started his shoe manufacturing efforts in the 1920s, crafting athletic shoes in his mother's wash kitchen in Germany. British streetwear brand Represent has launched its first womenswear offering as part of a collaboration with sportswear giant PUMA Group. Following its sale of a minority stake to investment firm True. after opening its first UK flagship store in Manchester's city centre. The Represent 247 x Puma collection is comprised of 12 pieces across sportswear, footwear and accessories, including Represent's first sports bra and women's trainer. 2. Dr. Martens plc has reported a loss before tax of £28.7m for the 26 weeks to 29 September, compared with a pre-tax profit of £25.8m in the previous year, as the retailer announced a refinancing deal and new CEO start date. 3. CEO of adidas, Bjørn Gulden, received the 2024 Footwear News Achievement Award for Person of the Year in New York. If you ask Gulden, he says, its his team at Adidas that deserves all the credit. 4. Outlast temperature regulating shirts use microencapsulated wax to adapt to temperature changes, reducing heat peaks and sweat production by up to 24 per cent. The technology keeps the wearer comfortable by preventing excessive heat buildup. 5. Luxury activewear brand Alo Yoga has opened its first store in the Republic of Ireland as it continues on its bricks-and-mortar expansion throughout Europe. #activewear #sportswear #internationalbrand

It’s been a minute since I last posted but I had to share the last project adidas LDN worked on before the year is out. adidas LDN (Oxford Street) collaborated with the hyperlocal fashion brand PEACHY DEN to create an immersive pop-up shop-in-shop experience for our consumers. The unique setup features a dual-merchandised setup featuring both in-line adidas Originals and Peachy Den apparel, complimented with in-line exclusive Peachy Den customised footwear - The Japan Mid and Takewando (Laceless). Additionally, the space features highly shareable moments such as the photobooth driving membership and purposeful dwell spaces for footwear try-ons, complimented with a customisation station driving footwear sell-through. The response has been overwhelming and I have no doubt that we're all thrilled with the outcome. Social output has seen the partnership land across VOUGE, Hypebae, Bricks & many more.
