As we quickly approach Christmas, after one truly overwhelming year of weather disasters, a Presidential Election, and a not-so-stable economy...I ask you to keep in mind the "Reason for the Season". I know it's easy for it to escape us sometimes as we caught up with every day life. Here’s just a quick 7 ways to inspire the "Reason for the Season" in yourself and others & spread Love & Christmas Cheer! 1. Christmas is NOT ABOUT GIFTS. 2. Be kind to others for no reason because "Kindness is Free". 3. Hold the door for someone in NEED. 4. Say Hello or a friendly Hi to someone just because. 5. Pay it Forward any chance you get. 6. Spend time with loved ones we still have here because life is fleeting. 7. BE LOVE, SHOW LOVE, & SPREAD LOVE , because you never know what someone else is dealing with this Holiday. 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗴𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿. First, instead of a word for the year, He's given me a glimpse into the future with a worship song for 2025 - 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘚𝘰𝘯𝘨 by Micah Tyler. I get literal chills when I listen anticipating what God has planned. Secondly, God is calling me to prioritize Him for the first seven days of January and place Him in the center of all of my plans. Before I set my year-long intentions, I've created seven intentions for these seven days: 1. Quiet the noise and step away from social media 2. Immerse myself in The Word daily 3. Dedicate time to prayer 4. Listen to a sermon series from the 2819 Church 5. Reflect on 2024, analyzing what worked and what didn't, then set personal and business intentions for 2025 (Tip: journal and pray over your intentions daily and see how big God can be. Crediting Jenny Marrs for this tip) 6. Organize healthy menus for easier meal planning 7. Commit to moving my body daily I'll be signing off for now to focus on these intentions, but I'm excited for my 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬. This short break is about renewal and realignment with God's purpose for my life. See you all soon, refreshed and ready for what 2025 has in store!
