Consider this advice: Dealing with prolonged long overhaul fiber outage, even when the fiber medium is okay, can escalate into a more complicated case. Don't shy away from suggesting a joint troubleshooting venture with a TX engineer rather than grappling with the issue solo. #telecommunications #fiberoptics #sitechallenges

If you ask me how to design a high-power system core for wireless power transmission, I will probably take you to the world of three-phase and multi-channels topologies. But if you ask me which system is more effective in terms of efficiency, reliability and resiliency, I will definitely suggest opposite flux systems. These systems may not be capable of fast charging, but still, in my opinion, with the spread of electric cars, they are the most important charging potential in public places. With the capability of two-way power transmission, they will open a new opportunities in electricity market. #wirelesscherging #evcharging #wpt #LCT_coil #wirelesspowertransfer

The Electrical Engineer Who Rewired America's Cable Industry The story of John Malone, known as the 'Cable Cowboy,' encapsulates a period of transformative change in America's television landscape. In the 1980s, cable TV transitioned from a luxury to an essential part of American life, and Malone was at the forefront of this revolution, reshaping how entertainment was consumed. As an electrical engineer, Malone's prowess extended beyond mere technical understanding. He envisioned an empire in the burgeoning cable industry, ready to leap where others hesitated. His leadership at Tele-Communications Inc. (TCI) was not just about connecting cables; it was about strategic growth, competitive edge, and navigating regulatory hurdles. Malone embarked on a relentless acquisition spree with TCI, integrating smaller regional cable systems and turning them into profitable ventures. Despite accumulating significant debt, his ambitions were boundless. He played a critical role in saving Turner Broadcasting and pioneered satellite TV, each venture bolder than the last. By the 1990s, TCI stood as a colossus, the largest cable company in the United States. Malone's vision and daring moves had transformed a fragmented industry into a unified, profitable domain. The culmination of Malone's journey came in 1999 when AT&T acquired TCI for an astonishing $48 billion. This deal not only marked a significant milestone in the telecommunications industry but also underscored Malone's exceptional ability to foresee and shape the future of media and entertainment. John Malone's legacy in the cable industry is a powerful reminder of how visionary leadership, coupled with strategic risk-taking, can redefine an entire sector and change the way we experience the world.
