As an extremely exothermic reaction, the methanation of hydrogen and carbon monoxide/ dioxide requires significant heat resistance from both the reactor and the catalyst. Biomass fuel test successfully done In our Swiss test facility, we were able to extensively test another specific input material. The aim was to test the properties and behaviour of Japanese Cedar and to adjust our gas generation plants accordingly. For this series of tests, we were able to welcome a team from our customer on site. In addition to the test runs, the program also included education and training of the customer's staff to familiarize them with our plant. The ongoing enhancement of our process engineering know-how and the practical support of our customers are two key factors that distinguish AHT as a company. Synthesis gas (Syngas) is the generic term for raw gas produced from feedstock hydrocarbon and consists of hydrogen (H2) and carbon monoxide (CO) as primarily components and carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), etc. as remaining components. It is also the generic term for raw gases used for the synthesis of ammonia, methanol, and oxo alcohol or the production of hydrogen. Quite wide range of hydrocarbon starting from natural gas (composed mainly of methane), LPG/naphtha, residual oil, coal till industrial waste plastic can be used as feed stock for production of synthesis gas, but it is essential to find the most appropriate syngas production technology to each type of raw material. We are able to offer the most suited technologies backed by our ample experiences to fulfill our clients' requirements taking final product specification, capacity of the plant, and so on, into consideration from various syngas generation technologies, namely Steam Methane Reforming Process (SMR Process), Autothermal Reforming Process (ATR Process) and combination of SMR process and ATR Process those are applicable to light hydrocarbons starting from natural gas till naphtha and Partial Oxidation Process (POX Process) that is applicable to all kinds of feedstock.
