[SEE THE MOVE] The Strategic Life Narrative Practice #1 (Introduction) In the previous article SEE THE MOVE: From Creative Life Curation to Strategic Life Narrative, I defined a new Ontological structure: Strategic Life Narrative (Strategic Curation). In this article, I will present the House of Creative Life Curation as a means of defining the “Realism” of Strategic Life Narrative (Strategic Curation). The House of Creative Life Curation is organized around 12 themes, grouped into three categories: Theme, Practice, and Space. These 12 themes form the foundation for developing 12 distinct types of Strategic Life Narrative practices. The “Hermeneutics” of Strategic Life Narrative (Strategic Curation) is grounded in the Self-referential Activity model and supported by relevant book drafts, which provide additional interpretive frameworks. https://lnkd.in/g4efcgeZ (11/6/2024)

One of my all-time favorite authors has to be Shel Silverstein. That perfect blend of wit and whimsy, outlandish humor and inspirational thought. His insight and outlook were unique and profound. In one of my keynotes, I like to pose this question to the audience: If you were a pilot but somehow forgot that you were a pilot, would you still believe that you could fly a plane? The answer, obviously, is “no.” If you don’t actually realize what you are capable of, you are stuck and held back to the parameters to which you BELIEVE. You can have all the potential in the world but if you don’t believe or realize that you are capable, you will never transform that potential into reality. Imagine a flashlight with a full battery. The battery is great, but unless you TURN ON the light, the flashlight will be nothing more than a battery holder and a waste of potential, a waste of what could have been. We need to be aware of what others may think. We need to be aware of risks and dangers. But after listening to all those things, embrace that childlike hope and optimism of what CAN be. Allow yourself to open to the ideas of the imagination and the possibilities that come with it because you can only accomplish what you believe in. **** (If you are looking to bring some of some fresh inspiration and insight to your organization, like in the keynote mentioned above, please reach out. I still have some spots available for Q3 and Q4.)
