Hello and welcome to this edition of Grand Tax. You've asked, we've answered. You asked, we answered as a series where members of the Grand Tech team discuss and answer questions asked by our clients, LinkedIn followers and others in our industry. My name is Jody Wright, General Manager of Granting Smart Manufacturing Solutions Group, and I'm joined here today with my colleague. Mr. Ian Wilson. Hello, Ian. Hello, Jody. Hi. Thanks, Jody. It's great to be here. On addition of you asked, we answered. I serve as a practice leader at Grant Tech for the Smart Safety and Logistics group. Today we have a great question that was asked by one of our newer clients. They had not worked with a system integrator before or in many years and they simply asked how do I work with a system integrator and what does that journey look like? Ian, that's a great question. So we hear a lot, so let's cover off a few items today. A few, few things that we would focus on would be industry experience, subject matter expertise and North American Reach. If I just touch on North American Reach, Grant Tech has its offices physically located across North America within close proximity to many of our clients locations. Now we didn't start that way. We started with one location which was close to many of our customers. But as we sort of grew as a company and our client base increased we then. Always adapted to have physical offices and people in close proximity to our customers. Any, anything else you would add to that? Ohh, great point. So thank you for bringing that up, Jody. We do work very close with our delivery partners across many, many disciplines, electrical, mechanical panel fabrication, mechanical fabrication. And it's very, very important to ensure that you know who you're getting, who you're hiring and what sort of scope you're looking to get into, make sure that those people are qualified and able to provide the services required. And also it's always key to have local representation really aligning for your project goals. I think one of the words that you set there said there too was expectations. So for us, we want to make sure that we are meeting expectations of our clients. Of course when we engage with our clients, you know, the first, the first step of course is, you know, understanding the scope, creating proposals, going through all the pricing. But usually when a project kicks off, it's usually a period passed that that, that phase. So what we usually do is we start with. The project kickoff meeting between ourselves and the client and you know, we'd say to ourselves, what does the kickoff meeting and why is it important? So it's important for us to review and align on the scope, you know, go back and review the proposal, review the schedule, go through all the pricing and the requirements, make sure that we review all of the deliverables and ensure that the expectations between Grand Tech and our client are aligned. Now, Ian, you've done many kickoff meetings with a lot of our clients. Is there anything else that you would add to those points? Ohh, great point, Jody to to bring up and the importance of kickoff meetings, really kickoff meetings. Some additional key points would be defining the resource requirements. Make sure you're you're hiring and staffing with the appropriate needs. Make sure you the key stakeholders and decision makers of the project are defined understanding the overall project. Cash flow and the burn of the cash flow and really resetting expectations with the client if the project has been going on or potentially in a pending state for many months or potential years. Thanks, Ian. Another thing for us as as a business is we want to make sure that we understand our clients business. The more we learn and understand and ask the right questions about our clients business, the more we understand their objectives, you know their metrics, what's important to them. And as well making sure that we do have the regular touch points with all the right people, you know, from whatever from the sea level suite all the way down to the factory floor, you know, whether it's operators and mechanics. You know, we, we need to make sure that we really, you know, understand, you know, the majority of their business and as well as partners. So our clients will also have their own delivery partners as in sort of touched on. But it's important for us to make sure that, you know, we generate, start generating relationships with all of their partners. Thanks, Jody. That was a great question that came our way. And like I said, it comes up quite a lot when we're engaging with newer clients.
