Join us in welcoming three new team members to the Graphcom family! Jeremy Fallinger joins us as our new Storefront Administrator. Jeremy owns a DJ business, StayTuned DJ Entertainment, and has been spinning at weddings and corporate events for over 12 years. He’s also (unfortunately) a self-proclaimed Miami Dolphins fan and once starred in a commercial for Hollywood Casino! Al Wagaman, Mailing Helper, is happily married to his wife, Chris, and they have one son who’s retired from the Air Force. Al and Chris stay busy raising their 4-year-old granddaughter while also enjoying time with their 14-year-old grandson. Al loves camping and has a soft spot for 60s Mustangs. Cassie Pennington, Mailing Helper, is the proud mom of her daughter, Elizabeth. She loves reading and spending time doing fun activities with her family. We’re so excited to have you on the team! #GrowingGraphcom #WelcomeToTheTeam #NewEmployeeAlert

This was such a fun exercise! I love seeing everyone's workspaces, they really do reflect our personalities. I cheated, though. We are in the middle of selling our house so my space is much less cluttered than usual. I'm often asked how Fractional Law Firm CMO functions with everyone working remotely. Do I like it? Does our team feel connected? Our team spans 3 states and is growing. We stay connected using MSTeams.link and Asana and Zoom and other tools. I feel as productive and connected - perhaps even more so - than I did going into an office every day. #workingfromhome is not just about getting the laundry done, doing the dishes, going for a run, and picking up the kids (on time!!) - those are all great things, no doubt. But being able to DO those things? On YOUR time? With flexibility? That is the real benefit. ⏳More time = Less stress At the end of the day, time is the most valuable commodity.
The FLFCMO team took photos of our desks, and we've got to say... they're a pretty good reflection of our personalities! Can you match each one to its owner? Let us know your guess in the comments 👩💻 - EJ Stern, MA, CPC, co-founder and CMO - Katherine Wilson, JD 💡, co-founder and CMO - Katelyn Pforzheimer, Director of Marketing and Business Development - Devin Pascoe, Creative Director - Selina Máté, Social Media Manager (*Kelli S. Mayville, CLU®, CLTC®, Director of Operations, is on a well-earned vacation so her desk is not featured!)

🦇 Happy Halloween to all the unsung heroes of Business Development! 🦇 I’ve always considered Business Development teams the "Batman" of their organizations. Outwardly, we’re the Bruce Waynes of the industry—polished, presentable, attending social events, and lunches with prospective clients, making connections, and building bridges. But behind the scenes? It’s a different story. Our role runs deeper-we’re there for service recovery, and census recovery, and, like Batman, we often act as detectives, identifying and fixing what needs fixing-often times before the problem is even known to the organization. We’re not in this for glory or recognition, nor are we heroes in the traditional sense. Instead, we’re the silent guardians, the watchful protectors of our organizations. We’re the ones who work in the shadows, ensuring everything keeps running smoothly. We may not wear a cape, but we’re here to answer the call, day or night. This Halloween, here’s to the Dark Knights of Business Development who show up when it matters most. 🖤 #Halloween #BusinessDevelopment #BehavioralHealthcareHeroes #DarkKnight #WoodlandRecoveryCenter #SubstanceAbuseTreatment #Advocates

🎃👻 I’m a summer kid at heart, but when spooky season rolls around, I gravely shift gears and fully embrace the ghoul times! 🎃💀 This year I bought some bone-afide skeleton trophies 🦴 and this weekend I’ll be driving around, handing out dead-icated awards to the most spooktacular yard displays in town! 🏆💀 I’ve come up with 6 fun, spooky prizes to celebrate the creativity and community spirit in my area: 1. Graveyard Greatness 🪦 – For the most hauntingly realistic or eerily creative yard. 2. Witchin’ It Was My Yard Award 🧙♀️ – For the yard that makes everyone wish they had done it first. 3. Phantom Phenomenon Award 👻 – For the display that’s so spooky it might just summon spirits. 4. Gourd-geous Display Award 🎃 – For the most beautifully decorated or pumpkin-packed yard. 5. Bone-Chilling Brilliance Award 💀 – For the most creative use of skeletons and bone-themed decor. 6. Fang-tastic Frights Award 🦇 – For the yard that delivers the best jump scares or spooky surprises. We all know how important it is to build and nurture our digital communities—whether it’s through professional networks, social media engagement, or virtual collaborations. But it’s just as essential to foster connection and creativity in our local communities too. Whether you’re setting up a virtual event or a neighborhood contest, these efforts build stronger, more connected communities that benefit everyone. For me, this is all about bringing a little extra fun and connection into our lives, both online and offline. After all, Halloween is about having a wicked good time, and it’s a great reminder that community comes in all shapes and sizes—sometimes it’s the people on your LinkedIn feed, and sometimes it’s the house with the un-boo-lievable cobwebs next door. 🧙♀️🎃 Can’t wait to see who will take home the frightfully fun trophies this year and how we can all build more vibrant communities together—wherever we are! 🤩💀 #CommunityBuilding #SpookySeasonFun #LocalConnections #DigitalCommunities #HalloweenSpirit

🦞 Age is Just a Number: Meet the 104-Year-Old 'Lobster Lady' 🚤 Virginia Oliver, Maine's maritime marvel, just renewed her commercial lobster license at 104 years old. Why? Because retirement isn't in her vocabulary! Picture this: A centenarian rising at 3 AM, donning lipstick and earrings, to catch lobsters thrice a week. That's Virginia's life, and she wouldn't have it any other way. Her secret? "You've gotta keep living, you gotta keep working." Virginia's story isn't just about lobsters. It's about passion, purpose, and shattering age stereotypes. As we plan for our futures, perhaps we should ask: What's our equivalent of Virginia's lobster boat? Let's celebrate those who prove that life's adventures don't have an expiration date. #AgelessInspiration #LifelongPurpose #RetirementRedefined Source:

Second installment of #thankfulthursday When I started earnestly looking for a job there are MANY people that were in my corner and gracious of their time. Too many to list in a post at the risk of forgetting someone. One person that stood out as going above and beyond was Harry Sims. We have never worked together, but Harry had interviewed with me years back and we bonded having the same boss in our work history. If you've been around these parts for awhile you've prob seen Harry. With a keen wit, Harry takes a unique approach to proviting truly thoughtful GTM insights. He calls it how he sees it and stands up for the little guy. His authenticity is refreshing and he's one of the few people on my feed that regularly makes me spit out my coffee with a laugh. When I was in a time of need Harry had nothing to gain from helping me, but he did. On a call he was the all gas no brakes hype man that I truly needed at the time. And after the call, he went above and beyond to leverage his network to help put me in front of other people that could help. We're not talking boiler plate introduction, but a thoughtful and thorough explanation of why it would be mutually beneficial for someone to meet with me--in his uniquely warm tone. It was clear to me that this type of thing was part of the regular day to day for Harry. He's constantly paying forward expecting nothing in return. Thanks Harry. Keep doing your thing.
