Building a Rapport with Your Recruiter #twowaystreet #tuesdaytea While I relish engaging with candidates (with a few exceptions, of course 😉 ), I truly value those who actively participate in our conversations, contributing as much as they receive. Building rapport extends far beyond discussing the weather ⛈ ; it's about creating a memorable connection. Individuals who excel in this aspect tend to linger longer in my memory, regardless of immediate job openings. I'm always eager to welcome such talent into our organization whenever the opportunity arises. Here's a suggestion for your next conversation with a recruiter: 💡 Research the company! Share notable highlights from recent news—this seemingly basic step is often overlooked. ↘ Engage the recruiter by asking what they enjoy about working at the company, and be ▶ prepared to respond thoughtfully to their answer. ✔ Express genuine interest in both the role and the company. ⏳ Stay mindful of time; while rapport is essential, ensure you discuss your relevant experience related to the role with examples. ❓ Pose a couple insightful questions to demonstrate your intent. Above all, be authentic. 🙌 https://lnkd.in/gDbdhUJ6

There’s one thing that you can do as a guest on my show that will always get me to invite you back: During an interview, make your answers ✔ Long enough to cover the subject ✔ But short enough to keep it interesting This benefits both of us in the long run! I have someone that I can confidently rely on to deliver compelling content to our audience. You have a way to boost your television presence and establish yourself as an expert in your field. Producers, what’s your “golden ticket” when it comes to booking a guest for more appearances?
