For the third year in a row, manufacturing is the most attacked industry by cyber criminals. Another way to read this is - manufacturers are not investing enough in cyber security, so the bad players know that this is statistically the best segment for them to play the game in. Similar to facility maintenance where 'there is never enough time to fix it right, but always enough time to fix it again'....many manufacturers are finding that there is not enough capital to develop a secure OT approach.
