Today marks a significant milestone for Arctic Unmanned, as we proudly announce our collaboration with Isavia BGSF to establish an innovative drone test area 🚀 This partnership reflects our mutual commitment to creating an exceptional environment for our clients 🤝 We're thrilled to offer authorized VLOS flights within 100 meters above ground level for drones up to 25kg. Named "Arctic Unmanned-01" (officially BGSF-R-AU-1), this predefined drone flight area is a game-changer in unmanned aviation ✈️ Our constructive dialogue with the Danish CAA is progressing towards obtaining BVLOS flights for drones exceeding 25kg. The only step remaining is to merge the common SORA (Specific Operations Risk Assessment) with our operational approval. This integration is crucial for advancing our capabilities and ensuring safe, efficient operations 📋 Coupled with our foundational agreement with Isavia, we're poised to offer flights reaching up to 2300FT AMSL on favorable days 🌍 Our respectful approach and extensive operational experience in the challenging Arctic conditions have been key factors in these developments 🏔️ We've forged a strategic partnership with Greenland Airports, utilizing the Kangerlussuaq Drone Center and Kangerlussuaq International Science Support. Numerous private enterprises are contributing, offering services such as car rentals 🚗 Looking ahead, we plan to establish a "settlement" in the heart of the testing area. This hub will feature continuous telephony and 4G connectivity, thanks to the Municipality's support for installing versatile containers that will serve as offices and warm-up spaces ☕ Excitingly, a potential investor has proposed constructing a landing strip for fixed-wing drones. We utilize drone technology to efficiently map large farms, enhancing planning processes compared to traditional ground methods. Drones capture high-resolution images, swiftly covering extensive areas. These images undergo processing to create orthomosaic maps, offering detailed, accurate overviews of the entire farm. Leveraging digitization, we identify crucial features such as infrastructure, land topography and vegetation distribution, among others. This facilitates careful planning for irrigation systems, fertilization schedules and harvest logistics. The digitized orthomosaic maps generated through drone technology hold immense significance for farm management. These maps provide farm managers with detailed and accurate insights into various critical aspects of their operations, enabling them to make informed decisions swiftly.
