In June, Arizona proudly received its fourth consecutive Gold Shovel Award from Area Development magazine in the 5-8 million population category. This prestigious award recognizes our state's significant economic development efforts through innovative policies, infrastructure improvements, and the successful attraction of new employers and investments in expanded facilities. Since 2007, Arizona has earned six gold shovel and six silver shovel awards, with all six gold shovels achieved in the past eight years. Here’s to continued growth and success for Arizona! 🌟

The primary objective of the ACRE program is to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion within the commercial real estate industry. LISC Milwaukee oversees the Associates in Commercial Real Estate (ACRE) program. I see a lot of US property managers focusing on Memorial Day and July 4th pacing, but almost everyone tends to overlook Juneteenth weekend or be quick to dismiss its impact. While it does differ by market we tend to see noticeable demand for Juneteenth in most areas. In this chart, Juneteenth in Tahoe is actually being searched for on direct STR websites by potential guests just as much as Memorial Day and even MORE than July 4th! My suggestion is to educate yourself on Juneteenth, as well as its non-trivial impact on Revenue Management!
