Local shelters are struggling with the challenge of overpopulation and rescue organizations are tirelessly working to alleviate this issue. Marley’s extended a lifeline to four dogs who had been residing at KCAS for the longest duration. Each rescue operation is a cause for celebration as it signifies a second chance at life for these animals, yet we’re struggling. We acknowledge that we are not alone in facing hardships. Nonprofits everywhere are experiencing a significant downturn in donations. These contributions are the lifeblood of our operations, enabling us to continue our mission of saving lives. They fund the provision of food, veterinary care, kennel maintenance and the employment of skilled personnel who are dedicated to caring for these dogs. Without these vital donations, our ability to make a difference in these animals’ lives would be severely compromised. Your generous donations truly empower us to rescue a greater number of deserving lives that would otherwise remain overlooked. Without compassionate individuals like you, these second chances would simply not be possible. Thank you for making a difference. Donate: https://lnkd.in/gHFeyP-8

2 months ago, our mission took on a new dimension – supporting animal welfare. We partnered with Animalibre, an organization dedicated to rescuing and caring for animals in need. The stories of countless dogs, cats, and other creatures suffering on the streets moved us. Witnessing the transformation of these animals – overcoming fear and regaining health – is inspiring. We couldn't walk away from the opportunity to make a difference. Virtue Health helps Animalibre with donations and raising awareness for their work. However, our furry friends still face challenges. Animalibre currently cares for 100 animals, and they desperately need a larger space to thrive. How You Can Help: - Donate: Your contribution helps provide vital resources for them. - Adopt: Open your home to a deserving companion. - Share: Spread the word. Every action counts. Let's work together to create a brighter future for these animals. 📌 Donate here: https://gofund.me/1129584d #animalrescue #animalrights #donate

Happy National Feed a Rescue Pet Week! Here at CUDDLY, we feed rescue pets every single day, but for this year’s National Feed A Rescue Pet Week, we’re partnering with Petcurean to go the extra mile. For every $20 donated through One-Time Donation, Petcurean will gift an additional meal to rescue dogs in need. An estimated 6M companion animals enter US shelters each year, making food a top priority. Many animals enter the care of shelters and rescues greatly in need of nutritional support. However, the cost of keeping these deserving pups fed can be astronomical. High-quality and nutritious meals from Petcurean not only have ample health benefits but can also provide comfort during a potentially stressful and overwhelming time. Tomorrow (August 15th) is National Check the Chip Day! No matter how careful you are, there's always that chance that your cat will slip outside and go missing. And every year, thousands of cats end up in shelters with no way to get home because they aren't chipped, or the chip information is out of date. Here's some things you can do for Check the Chip Day: *Find your cat's chip registration information and make sure that it's up to date with current contact numbers. *Visit the vet clinic with your cat and ask them to do a chip check. It takes just a few minutes to make sure that the chip is functioning correctly. (Call ahead and let them know you're coming!) *Consider donating funds to your local shelter or animal rescue to help cover the cost of some microchips, or, if someone you know needs to microchip their cat, consider "gifting" the cost to them. #nationalcheckthechipday #everycathealth #cathealth #cat #cats #felinehealth #felinemedicine
