Our next #H2Week spotlight is centred on how it is redefining industrial energy through #fuelswitching. As industries seek to lower emissions, hydrogen emerges as a crucial player in fuel switching, especially for high-heat processes. Embracing hydrogen is a step towards decarbonising UK industry, and it is already underway following the completion of Industrial Fuel Switching Phase 1 and the imminent commencement of Phase 2 demonstrations. #CleanIndustry #EmissionsReduction

As part of our innovative solutions, we offer a groundbreaking method for simultaneous loosening using two inductors, specifically designed for turbine casing interventions. This technique allows for significant time savings compared to traditional methods, which are often tedious and time-consuming. With this approach, we drastically reduce the time required to remove nuts, all while ensuring complete safety. If you've ever faced extended delays, sometimes taking several days to remove just one nut, our solution is tailored for you. In addition to equipment rental and sales, we offer on-site demonstrations and specialized training to enable your teams to quickly and efficiently master this technology. Our goal is to support you in improving your maintenance processes while optimizing intervention times. Trust our expertise to transform your operations with unmatched safety and efficiency. You probably thought this was another post about the eclipse, right? Nope--we're just too excited about the first field deployment of our Power Router to talk about anything else! As we share more updates about the deployment and join key stakeholders for live demonstrations, here is some more detailed information about the unit per recent questions we've received: Where is it being deployed? Raleigh, NC What is it? A two-port configuration of our Power Router designed for ultra-fast electric vehicle charging. What is the power level? 200 kW How big is it? 18" x 18" x 60", which is 4x-10x smaller than comparable EV chargers of the same power level! How can I visit? Email us at info@dgmatrix.com to learn more and to arrange for a demonstration! #evcharging #powerrouter #distributedenergy #electricvehicles #electrification

The Engineer Storyteller | Helping Businesses build Authority & Earn Revenue Using Long-Form Content
Edison changed the world with Electric Light. But no one knew what to do with it. Gas Lamps exist. And electric light exists. So why Edison's electric light? He made a clever 3-stage marketing campaign: 1) Low Disruption of Regular Life. • Edison's team designed his electric lights to look and operate like gas lamps Make it effortless to adopt your product. 2) Have Public Demonstrations: • Edison lit lower Manhattan with Electric Light. You could see the light from Jersey. Don't say your product is better. Show them. 3) Pick the Best 1st Customer. • Lower Manhattan is also where the financial district is. Edison knew he needed money, so he showed the people with money how life-changing electric light is. --- The more work you do ahead of time to reduce. • Perceived Risk (both physical and financial) • Disruption of Everyday Life • Friction to use. And provide credible references. The faster product adoption occurs. #marketing #storytelling #business

The US Department of Energy has announced industrial projects that will receive federal funding under the Industrial Demonstrations Program. Out of a total 6 billion dollars, 1.25 bn will be granted to low-carbon steel projects, including up to 500 million for SSAB to produce DRI with 100% hydrogen in Mississippi and then green steel in Iowa. Another 500 million has been awarded Cleveland-Cliffs for a hydrogen-ready plant. I also want to point out that Heidlberg Materials has also been awarded up to 500 mn dollars for a CCS-cement project, similar to its CCS-project at Cementa in Slite, Gotland. Along with SSAB, this means that 1 billion dollars will be awarded projects that have initially been supported by the Swedish Energimyndighetens industrial policy project "The Industrial Leap". https://lnkd.in/dpWmFxjv

It's been a whirlwind of a last few weeks as the DG Matrix team hosted 20+ demonstration sessions with customers, investors, partners, and suppliers visiting from across the country (and beyond!) to see the first "in the wild" installation of our Power Router technology. It's incredibly gratifying to go from showing the tech on PowerPoint slides and hearing "this is too good to be true" to demonstrating the technology in person. And it's even more exciting to see the awe-struck reactions of people realizing the magnitude of what this technology means for global electrification. While on the surface it's come together in a little over a year, in reality, this is the result of entire careers of work and 175,000+ engineering development hours. This is an incredible milestone, but also just the start. Keep an eye out for much more from DG Matrix as we bring the most advanced electrification solutions to market. Last week, DG Matrix wrapped up official demonstrations for the first pilot of our Power Router technology. Over the last month, we welcomed 20+ customers, investors, and partners to experience our game-changing technology, to meet our team, and to learn more about our ambitious plans to bring the most advanced electrification solutions to market. We are pleased by the overwhelming positive feedback and strong interest that resulted from the demonstrations and look forward to continuing to showcase our technology with future demonstrations to be announced soon. Thank you to all those who made the trip to visit DG Matrix! So, what's next? In case you missed the demos, not to worry. We'll be exhibiting at ACT Expo next week and will tell you all about it! Come visit our team at Booth 964 to learn more. #evcharging #launch #electrification #electricvehicles #ev #distributedenergy #microgrids #powerrouter

You want to learn about the modeling of DC motors in LTSpice with the help of practical experiments and demonstrations? Then this video is maybe interesting for you: https://lnkd.in/ejQwMJWc This is a YouTube recording of my lecture at the department for mechanical engineering at IUT du Havre during the 2nd #InternationalDays of the Le Havre Normandy University in March 2024. In this interactive lecture, we discussed the fundamentals of direct-current motors and the necessary physical quantities for modeling them. We then developed a model for the motor taking into account is electrical and physical behavior. Finally, I did some experiments and showed some demonstrations to determine the parameters of the motor. This included measurements using a multimeter of Fluke Corporation, a current probe of Chauvin Arnoux, a high-voltage probe of Teledyne LeCroy and a USB-powered oscilloscope of Pico Technology. The slides are further material can be found here: https://lnkd.in/efMbbpBB There are chapter marks so that you can jump right into the sections which are most interesting for you. Prefer Twitch? Here is the same video there: https://lnkd.in/e7zCS_q9
