Aaand exhale. As I'm sure you've probably all heard by now (sorry!), Axco hosted our first-ever Global Insurance Week. Now that the excitement is over, we finally have some time to collectively take a deep breath and do a bit of a retrospective.
Let's start, where all things should, with the thank you's. There are a host of people who, without whom, these events wouldn't have been possible. From all the event sponsors, Lloyd's, iCede Solutions Limited, Xceedance, QBE Insurance, Marsh, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, and Aon. To all the unsung heroes, from our esteemed judging panel, speakers and the excellent support staff at all our venues. Thank you all!
Finally, thank you to all the people who made the week what it was – the speakers who shared their expertise and time at the conference or who helped run masterclasses, the teams who put themselves or their colleagues forward for awards, and just about anyone who turned up to the conference, or dusted off the black tie. We may have hosted the events, but you were the ones who made them.
Now, if you'll forgive a bit of horn tooting – toot toot 📯 📯. The response to Global Insurance Week has been overwhelmingly positive, from the feedback we've received in person to the outpouring of support on LinkedIn. After months and months of planning, a bit of positive reinforcement from the market certainly doesn't hurt!
So, now that Global Insurance Week is all wrapped up for this year, I guess only one question remains – do we schedule the first planning meeting for next year this Monday or the Monday after?
