Blowin' Shit Up at The Krazy Coupon Lady | CPG & Retail Sales Leader | Spreader of Positive Vibes | Proud CHIEF, NextUp Member and DEIB Advocate
Today' celebration of Women's History Month was well represented with this group of women! We wore purple to celebrate International Women's Day as well! Purple signifies justice, dignity and being loyal to the cause. Special shout out to Lori Driscoll Stephanie Louie for coordinating our NextUp Northern California peninsula lunch. I encourage all men and women in my network (yes, you too MEN!) to find different ways to support women in the workplace. Here are some great easy ways to do so: 1. Acknowledge Women's History Month by simply saying "Happy Women's History Month" 😍 2. Ask them about recent successes and how they accomplished them. 3. Post about a woman that has had an impact on your career. Everyone appreciates acknowledgement. 4. Make someone smile. Yep - that easy. It's just so much more fun working when we're happy, right? Anyone else have suggestions on how to support and celebrate women this month? Andrea (Rockers) Wright Amila Tiric, CLMP Su Feng Kuo, Ph.D.

I come from an industry that is predominantly powered by #women However, even today, most industries are dominated by men. In 2022, #data collected from the International Labour Organization concluded that, out of 180 countries - the #unitedstates ranks number 71 for % of women in the workforce. The percentage of women in the #workforce in the U.S is 46.38% Women remain #underrepresented at all levels, in most industries. However, know that when you call 9-1-1 it’s likely that the #hero under the headset is a #strong , #brave , #courageous #female According to a Bureau of Labor Statistics report in 2021 - 74% if 911 operators are women. “People need to see leaders who look like themselves, to understand that it’s possible for them.” Happy #womenshistorymonth #womenempowerment #womenchangemakers #genderequality #911dispatch #911dispatcher #dispatchers #publicsafety #publicsector #everydayheroes

#WomeninIndustry Member Spotlight: Meet Whitney Miller, West Coast Regional Sales Manager at Fullerton Tool Company! ⬇️ 👀Years in the industry: 6 👀Years as a #WII Member: 1 💡How did you get started in our industry? My great-grandfather founded Fullerton Tool Company, and my grandfather ran it from the ’70s – 2000s. Now my uncle and cousin are running it. I will be a part of the Fourth Generation, and I couldn’t be more excited. 💡Why did you want to join Women in Industry? I was interested in joining because of the knowledge and experience that this group offers. Building relationships is so important in this industry, and it is an honor to be able to interact and learn from all of these great women. The more education I can receive, the better. That is what I love about this industry, there is always something new to learn about.
