Successful field exploration this summer at Junior has extended mineralisation and uncovered a new mineralised zone at Despard, leading to a new exploration target over the project. This Junior Lithium project is the next part of the Eastern Hub development strategy and resource development will play a crucial role in delivering long-term feed to the planned concentrator at the Seymour Project.

$GLN - Galan Lithium Ltd is pleased to announce the grant of an additional key tenement, E70/4629 targeting lithium-bearing pegmatites. The exploration licence has been granted for a period of 5 years to February 2029. The tenement is approximately 260 km south of Perth, the capital of Western Australia, and less than 30 km south of the Greenbushes pegmatite at the Greenbushes Mine (Talison Lithium). The area covers roughly 43 km2 and expands Galan’s 100% owned tenement package to a total area of 315 km2. Commenting on this important milestone, Galan’s Managing Director, Juan Pablo Vargas de la Vega said”The grant of this key exploration licence is an important pillar of Galan’s exploration and evaluation activities at Greenbushes South. The tenure is highly prospective and its geological setting gives us the confidence to commence a maiden field campaign at the earliest opportunity. via Grafa NickelSearch Limited reported progress in assessing lithium potential at its Carlingup Project near Ravensthorpe in Western Australia. Soil and rock chip samples around the Quarry reveal #lithium-#caesium-#tantalum pegmatites, with a partially exposed in-situ outcrop in the Quarry floor. Infill sampling around the Quarry is completed, guiding detailed geological investigations to define drill testing targets. Analysis of assay results from high-priority areas indicates an anomalous trend of LCT pegmatite-related minerals. Next steps include analysing assays, continuing Quarry surface exposure work, awaiting results from regional exploration, and planning lithium exploration programs at newly-acquired tenements. Ongoing exploration at our recently acquired Isabella Lithium Project has confirmed several spodumene-bearing pegmatite trends extending up to 800m, supported by newly-found artisanal workings that extend previously mapped continuity. The current program is focusing on a high-impact sampling campaign, targeting known spodumene-bearing artisanal workings and expanding exploration across the license. The aim of the surface reconnaissance is to develop high-potential lithium drill targets, with the goal of positioning the Isabella Project as an advanced lithium exploration opportunity in Brazil’s Lithium Valley, where is it located adjacent to other advanced spodumene projects. Our Exploration Manager Allan Stephens said: "Building on the high-grade spodumene previously identified at the Isabella Project, our current exploration campaign is exceeding expectations. The discovery of additional extensive historical artisanal workings indicates widespread spodumene mineralization, aligned with our interpreted pegmatite trends, suggests Isabella has the potential to emerge as a significant spodumene area in a region already known for large, high-grade lithium projects." Thank you Charles Kazaz for the Quebec mine permitting regulatory alert. I recently posted a blog on using environmental cost/benefit to optimize mine closure. Trade-offs to balance costs, regulatory requirements, and outcomes are inherent part of closure planning. The same applies to mine planning and operation… looking at options for mine development and operation that mitigate environment, regulatory, and social concerns. This approach is applicable to the new Quebec permit requirements. #mining #quebecenvironment #neba #environmentalcostbenefit
As of May 6, 2024, certain types of mineral exploration work in Quebec will require a prior authorization. The aim is to improve and streamline the regulatory process for Indigenous and community consultation and create a framework for social acceptability related to mineral exploration work. Here is a link to our firm bulletin on the topic.

White Cliff Minerals Limited (WCN) has marked a transformational leap in its exploration at the Rae Copper Project, Nunavut, with the discovery of multiple large-scale conductive anomalies across the newly expanded Hulk district. This milestone not only reaffirms the project’s potential for district-scale, sediment-hosted copper deposits but also paves the way for accelerated development in one of Canada’s most promising mineral regions. Key Survey Highlights: ➡️ Extensive New Coverage: Spanning a vast 152 km², the Hulk district survey utilised cutting-edge MobileMT technology, covering 2,400 line-km to detect subsurface conductivity down to depths exceeding 1 km with unprecedented accuracy. ➡️ Identification of Major Targets: Three newly defined, fault-controlled sub-basins (East, Central, and West) display conductive responses along a 20 km strike, offering robust potential for multiple copper discoveries. ➡️ Strategic Structural Advantage: The prominent Herb Dixon fault, a known hydrothermal copper pathway, traverses the Hulk district, aligning perfectly with these conductive zones and further amplifying the project’s mineralisation potential. Managing Director Troy Whittaker stated, “These remarkable findings solidify Hulk as a cornerstone asset with the scale and characteristics for significant copper discoveries. With final interpretations now completed, we’re moving decisively toward pinpointing our 2025 drill targets and scaling up our drilling campaign to unlock this district’s vast potential.” This discovery marks White Cliff Minerals’ evolution as a leader in copper exploration, reinforcing its commitment to developing assets that align with the global shift toward critical metals essential for a sustainable future. Fitzroy Minerals Inc. has filed a technical report under NI 43-101 standards for their Caballos Copper Project located in Chile (very exciting!) The report, effective as of June 21, 2024, was prepared by Scott Jobin-Bevans of Caracle Creek Chile SpA, an independent qualified person. The report details historical work and updates on Fitzroy's exploration efforts at the site. **Key Points from the Report:** - **Geological Assessment:** The copper mineralization found at Caballos is considered significant enough to warrant further exploration and development. - **Exploration Recommendations:** The next phase of exploration should focus on diamond drilling to explore deeper geophysical and geochemical anomalies at the Cerro Las Mulas Target and the South Target, which features a hydrothermal breccia. What’s this all mean in layman terms? I understand this to mean that the report supports the continuation of exploration activities to potentially expand the known mineralization at the project site. The full report is accessible on SEDAR:) Great work Fitzroy! Go explorers! #FTZ #FTZFF Fitzroy Minerals Inc. (TSX-FTZ, OTC-FTZFF)

Exploration’s not for the faint-hearted. We’re searching for needles in haystacks – searching for signs of mineral deposits – and, when we’re successful in finding them, validating their limit and grade before a mine can be developed and begin producing. It’s not quick, and it’s not easy. S&P Global reports that the average lead time from discovery to production averages 15.7 years. Pelangio Exploration Inc. is up for the challenge – are you? The future will be here before you know it! If you’d like to have a conversation about how we tackle this challenge, send me a DM. Let’s talk!
