Well, it's time to recognize our Greene & Phillips Player of the Week week six saw local high school football players put up some big numbers, but a comeback rivalry win led by this quarterback sealed the deal. I went out to Spanish Sport High School to present this week's award with the help of David Greene. This sophomore quarterback completed 20 of 25 for 244 yards and three touchdowns Friday night to help the Toros rally to beat Daphne, 35 to 27. That's why David Greene is here to present our Play of the Week to Aaden Shamburger It's an honor. All the hard work that I put in through the summer with my dad and my brothers and all my family members and all their dedication to me. You know, it means a lot. Really, just continue to grind because, you know, it's just going it's going to show up on the field. Just a great young man characterized, work ethic, he's here early stays late, just everything you want out of a quarterback and a leader for sure. And Aaden was a huge factor, obviously taking the lead there offensively as a quarterback position at a young age sophomore. And so just really stepped out, showed that leadership and just executed at a high level that second half and just very proud of him. You know 20 of 25 passing is wonderful for anybody, 244 yards and three touchdowns for the sophomore. This young man is going to have a lot of colleges looking at him. A fantastic player of the week.
