Regulation and control of biological systems responses to stimuli is difficult to study in plants due to issues like multiple genome copies and large genome sizes. Not to mention the physical structure of plant cells which limit techniques used in mammalian cells. AI / ML is opening whole new genomic islands to study in this space due to its ability to identify genomic signatures and interactions previously not identified. I believe that we are entering an incredibly exciting time in plant biology and chemistry. #plants #omics #AI #ML
